in serious need of a stretching routine

I am in some serious need of a stretching routine to increase overal body flexability... and in particular one that will help me to kick higher (for martial arts).

Do you guys have any such routines, suggestions, links, etc?
 
Yes, Yoga! I'm in the same boat and enrolled in Yoga to better my flexability and balance for MMA.
 
I am in the same boat.

I can't even sit on the ground with my legs crossed, my hips are that unflexable.

If I bend down to touch my toes, I fall about 9" short

I am starting BJJ Saturday and I need some serious work. People always say that Yoga will help. I may download some Yoga vids and give it a try.

The shitty thing is you shouldn't stretch a cold muscle. The best scenario for me would be to do some stretching at night while I watch TV, but I don't want to injure a cold muscle.
