Injecting at an odd angle?

i know its supposed to be straight.but hitting my glute by myself is pretty hard.today it was kind of at a bent angle.the injection went in fine.the injection spot is bleeding a bit and is already sore.

but other than being more sore is there anything wrong with going at an odd angle? will i still get the test in the muscle?

did you draw back on the pin?? it's ok as long as you don't see blood in the pin

you should try the quad and aspirate to see if there is no blood if so you need to do steps again

I drew back got air bubbles. Quads scare me

Quads are easy to pin and don't hurt at all. What scares you about them?

Guys, what's wrong with upper Rectus Femoris? I do about 4 knuckles down from "inguinal" crease. I'm pretty lean in my legs so that might be my advantage, I just lift the leg and RF pops out, measure 4 knuckles down and I pop it in, aspirate, hold base and inject. No blood, no oil, no problem...haha. Am I missing something important? Is this not a good site? It ached after 1st shot in each, but now I can't feel a thing, and the dot stays long enough for me to hit same spot next time. Is there such a thing as local hypertrophy in the muscle injected?
