Injection/aspiration concern

Newcomer here. Maybe this is a stupid question, but I'd like to know for sure: If you aspirate (pre-injection) and end up drawing blood into the syringe, should you then discard the syringe along with all its contents (including the oil), or is it okay to replace the needle only and then proceed to inject the oil/blood mix (after aspirating again)?

For the record, I'd probably err on the side of caution and toss the whole thing before starting over from scratch, but I don't wanna waste that gear if it's unnecessary.

i just push out a bit of it (the blood) and switch tips and do a new spot just a little bit away from last spot, when I have had it happen. it rarely does though to be honest, but i still aspirate, takes a sec and im used to it
