Did 1.5cc of tren a, prop, cyp mix in my shoulder, and it immediately hurt excessively and bled alot...i may have injected a bit too fast, and when i removed the pin the spot blew up...big, hard, swollen....(woodrow style)

Today it is still really swollen, lil black and blue, and hard as hell....very painful....i tried massaging it and no good...

should i ice it?
heat pad it??

what do you think it is???

any input would be greatly appreciated..thanks :wiggle:

you're probably fine if it's not red and hot. that's happened to me in my quad and it went away in a few days. just watch for signs of abscess. (red, hot, excessive pain, fever, etc)

cool, thanks Buck...should i ice it for the swelling, or leave it alone?

when IV fluids run in a patients arm and this happens it is called infiltration...But with an IM injection thats not really the case. I am not 100% sure but one of the fluids may be a vesicant which means it can irritate or necrotize tissue if it isnt injected properly....I dont think any AAS are vesicnts but like i said im not sure...What size pin did you use when doing it? Was it at least 1"? You may have injected the fluid between two muscles or you may not have went deep enough with the fluid and now it is trapped under your dermis....Its not an infection....right now....because that would have taken a little while to develope but it could potentially et infected if the issue is not resolved...I would apply heat first to allow circulation to the area which will hopefully open up the capillaries and allow some of the fluid to drain and then i would hti it with an ice pack to decrease the circulation and relieve some of the pain...15min heat, 15 min off, then 15-20 cold pack...or you could go see a doctor :)

needles are made to puncture veins but once the needle is pulled out thr hole should close up right away...which is why people dont beeld perfusely when they have blood taken and those are BIG bore needles.....The only way it is from a vein is if you ripped it is caught the side of it when injecting....

uhhh... I'm no authority on ice or heat but I'd just say leave it be. It should go away soon and I'm not sure that either would effect the healing process too much.

and I have personally gone through a vein with IV's and IM's and they will swell and lump up as described but only for a few hours.

overall don't get too freaked out... it's probably happened to everyone here at least once. just watch for infection but I'm sure you'll be fine.

ya its really nothing to worry about...its only been a day...if its like that 4 days from now...or it gets any worse...then i would definately go see a doc
