Injections

So I've been injection Sust for about 3 to 4 weeks now and my last injection was Wed and the site is very stiff and sore, red and swollen and to the touch it is very very painful. I recently increased dosage and that was the first shot with a higher dose so I'm assumming that could be a reason its hurt but was just wondering if this is normal or if its an infection/something bad? Any help is appreciated, thanks

It could just be from the increased amount injected in the site...

Keep an eye on it... Maybe have the doc take a look at it.

FYI... I keep keflex(cephalexin) on hand at all times just in case.

More than likely the doc would put you on it for a week. 2000mg ED. If that doesnt work and/or you wait to long to see the doc you be fucked and gotta get it drained.

Thats why if I get unusual pain and swelling I run some Keflex.

I've also started taking some leftober antibiotics that I had from an infection I got a year or two ago just from ad dirty cut. Either way whats the longest you'd suggest I just observe it before acting upon the situation?

What is the name of the antibiotic? Some are completely useless or only slightly effective against skin and muscle tissue infections.

I got it when I got a drunk injury that I thought nothing of and then my arm swelled up and felt like i had a broken bone lol. They actually took me off this because it didn't work and they put me on IV but I figured that this may help with my situation now

sounds like an infection to me. carful. also make sur eyou dont ues the same spot every time . i alternate 4 spots delts and glutes.

I've just been switching delts but I'm going to start using delt, thigh, delt, thigh etc switching sides each time. If it is an infection should it go away on its own if it isn't bad or would you suggest going to see a doc? The injection was taken Wednesday and its still red and swollen but the pain has dulled although when I flex my bi I do feel pain in the arm.

Ya I've come to the conclusion that I'm fucked and if it doesn't clear up in 2 days I'll be seeing the doctor and making up an excuse for my parents as to why my arm was cut open

Is it warm to the touch,do you have a noticeable abscess(lump) or crater? If not and if the pain is subsiding its probably just BA reaction... Take some benadryl...

But if you are worried about it go to the doc...

Be patient bro, the pain in the bi may just be due to the swelling and u feel the pressure there. Sus always knotts up on me make sure u sterilize good before each injection no laziness u only get one body. Try a hot compress it will thin the oil out and help it dispurse. Always rub your injection site for a minute after u hit the shot. If it doesn't look better then get ur ass to the doc.
