Injury recovery - dumb it down!

Still kicking

Can you all take pity on a newbie and advise me on what suppliments can help with an ankle sprain?

I've never done HGH or peptides or really anything else. So, I don't know where to buy or how to take it.

My goal is just to recover from this sprain so I can run again. I don't really need to lose fat or gain muscle.

If anyone can give it to me really simply, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks much.

There's a supplement called Time that will heal it. Besides that, no miracles that I know of.

Ibuprofen, icing the ankle and LOTS of 18-25 year old vagina. Guaranteed to either heal your ankle, or at least make you forget you have one for awhile. :)

Lol everyone is right with time... but there a few thngs that u can do to speed up recovery... taking the building blocks of collagen is something that will help u. Glucosamine, msm, chondroitin, hyauronic acid, amino acids, vitamin c & e. bromelain, I think supplement companies even sell actual collagen pills. Taking a multi vitamin has helped me with joint soreness too. Eat a solid diet and do not go back to running before u heal. But do stretch and do other activities. I would reccomend stationary biking... good luck

R.I.C.E bro. Rest, ice, compression, and elevation. A week or two you should have started healing up pretty well. Oh yeah and the vagina suggestion always helps

Hah! I particularly like the pussy prescription. Think you guys can help me convince my wife that it'll help my ankle?

I am going to take Zephyr 987's recommendation for glucosamine, msm, chondroitin, hyauronic acid, amino acids, vitamin c & e. bromelain.

About R.I.C.E., time, and patience, I've pretty much run the gamut on all three. Here's my situation: I'm 41 and entering one of my last seasons on semi-pro soccer team.

The injury was an eversion sprain, an unusual type, and happened in early November. I've iced, elevated, rested, and taken ibuprofin and arnica. I've also smeared it with DMSO. I'm trying to do physical therapy.

The reason I'm interested in HGH and peptides is that my season is about to start and I need to jump start this ankle. Also, there's a good chance of injuries during the season - what with idiots sliding at you with their cleats up. So, it would be good to have something to fall back on.

What do you all think?

Soccer player here as well. Tape that thing up when you start playing. How did the DMSO work for you? I have people that swear by it and others that notice nothing. Then others who combine it with other items and use the DMSOo as the transport mechanism to get it through the skin.

Methos,

I've found DMSO works well for reducing swelling, particularly in muscles. As for a transport mechanism, I've used it with arnica, but I've heard it works with basically everything. What combinations do you know?

As for the tape, unfortunately, I had my ankles taped when it happened. If I could just get the damn thing to heal, I know how to protect it. Meanwhile, I've got the season starting this month, and I haven't been able to play on it since November.

I have only tried DMSO on it's own. My crazy rocket scienstist father swears by his remedy of DMSO and WD-40. Yes, you read that right, WD-40 the mechanics lube. Are you sure it's only a sprain?

That is hilarious. Is your dad really a rocket scientist?

Our team doc took a couple x-rays and said nothing's broken. The weird thing is that it wasn't like any sprain I've done before. I came down on it from a big leap and I actually didn't feel a twist. But there was a pain around the ankle and bruising on the inside, like an eversion sprain.

I'm just frustrated at this point. I've heard HGH can ramp up healing, so I'd like to give it a try. I just have no idea how to get it or use it.

Yah I don't know of any magic healers. Wonder if you did something to the plantar fascia tendon. That bruised in the same area when my wife tore hers.

If it's soft tissue you may be able to get some relief with Cortizone. BUt most doctors are stearing away from injections since cortizone causes damage to good tissue.
