Insulin timing when training at night

If you train at night say 9:30pm, when should you take your insulin (Humalog) shot?

I've read that you take Insulin before breakfast, but also I've read you should take it after your workout, then I've read you shouldn't take insulin before bed.

Say the schedule is:

7am - meal 1
10:30am - meal 2
1:30pm - meal 3
3:30pm - meal 4
6:00pm - meal 5
8:00pm - meal 6
11:00pm - meal 7 (post workout)
12:00am - meal 8 (beef + salad)

humalog peaks in an hour and is done at 2 hours so i would take it immediately pwo. just dont go to sleep for 2-3 hours after. i say 3 hours just gto be on the safe side.

x2^ also make sure its a carb meal last thing you want is to go hypo while sleeping. be lucky to wake up.

Humalog is a fast acting insulin. It is usually given 15-30mins prior to a meal. If too much is given or you have a low carb meal, then it can make you hypoglycemic. You dont want to be at the gym with a blood sugar of 60....

And never take fast acting insulins at bedtime...
