interchanging flat bench with flat db each week

does it matter? is it worth it? I know db offers more stability and works on your pecs more in the sense of that burning stretch, but of course, bp is still the king of pecs as squats are to legs.

what's your opinion? does working on flat db helps with your bench? I know it shouldn't, but give your thoughts.

thanks

At that point, depending if you're strong on both of them I would just alternate sometime just to stress your muscle as in "YO I WAS SO USED TO DO 4 SETS OF HEAVY ASS BENCH, THOSE 120 POUNDS DUMBBELLS ON A 2-0-2 TEMPO FUCKIGN KILLS ME" than you get some more teared !

I'm not a chest expert but i think that make some sense depending on what stade you're on !

No, that didnt make any sense. I must be on the wrong stade?
I do both bb and db...

I mean, i'm doing both too, when you've got some decent stability for dbs it depends on the user what exercice pays the more but as i said if you're always doing bench press it'd be good to stress your muscle by changing.

Also it depends on how you feel and react to it, i never do incline bench press it kills me even in supination nor in pronation so i just do it properly with dbs and get a nice pump and great results, you get what I mean?

Edit : Flat db press aim especially the median part so you should be considering to hit more on flat bb press since it aims on the whole major pectorialis, if you like to hit both, you could do something like 2weeks BB; 1weeks DB but considering you hit also bb (incline or decline) on your DB week!
