You are thinking of MT2 not iPT-141 but both can help erections.

Juced, the IPT-141 definitely acted like the melatonin peptides, at least for me. Everyone at work was asking me if I was sun-tanning in the winter. But it was not a natural looking tan, as it preferentially made any brown spots or mole-like spots much darker. I was doing 1 mg, 3-4x a week (every other day about). You never noticed a tanning effect with this? It is based on the MT1 and MT2 sequences.....

Bremelanotide activates MC3R and MC4R receptors that regulate feeding, metabolism and sexual behavior. They have no impact on skin tone what so ever(MC1R). That was the whole purpose of ipt-141 - to specifically and solely target the rectors that were secondarily activated by MT2 that causes its effects on sexual desire etc.

I totally hear you and I know the research suggests its a "sunless" version of melanotin II (very similar structure). This might be because there is a drug company involved that was trying to market IPT-141 for reperfusion injury, female sexual dysfunction, and hemorrhagic shock. They set out from the beginning to modify MTII to make it non-tanning, cause they were worried it might stimulate precancerous melanocytes (melanoma), and they also didnt want the tanning side effect for an otherwise standard medicinal indication. Anyways, I swear to you, it makes my freckles much darker and gives me a mild sun tan effect!!!

Are you sure you ipt141 isnt possibly or partially mt2? Where did you get it?
(ps btw Im well aware of the ipt 141 history and the potential pharma uses. It was scrapped due to HBP then revisited by Palatin when it was discover sub q didnt cause that side effect)

Jimi, It is always possible that the PT-141 I received was MT2. But I have ordered from 2 different peptide companies over the past year or so and noticed the same darkening effect on my skin (not really a tanning effect, just makes my already brown spots and freckles much darker). BTW, I love PT-141 and will keep using it! If you read on-line in other forums, others have also noticed a tanning effect with PT-141, but then again, maybe the peptide companies are really just sending MT2 (not sure if it just easier to make, etc). Or maybe it only has this darkening effect in certain individuals, my complexion is very white!

1.5mg MT 2-4 hours before action gives me SICK libido. How much PT-141 would I need for a similar effect? Less/more? It's more expensive so I'd assume I need less.

I use 1 mg about 3-6 hrs before any planned encounter, but I have noticed that successive days of use make the effect even stronger. So you could do 1 mg a day for a couple days leading up to your planned encounter! This shit is great on a week long trip with your lady (1 mg every day) and you will be drilling her nonstop!!!

Thanks. Does it have any effect on your skin? The only reason I'd swap it for MT is because I'm getting too dark!

I just got some PT-141. I have used MT-2 for my tan and loved it. I just wondered if I should hold off on the PT-141 until summer and forego ordering more MT-2.
Has anyone other than Moppy1 had any luck with 141? My research has found it does have some tanning properties.

Just mix it so it is easy. For example I use 100units or water then 10ius=1mg. Makes for easy dosing.
I have had excellent luck with it at 1-1.5mg. The reason some observed a compounding effect if using multiple days is that it lasts quite a long time. It takes several hours to really kick in but it lasts a couple days. For example cialis and pt141 on a Friday will last over the entire weekend in my experience. Its also quite the crazy combination!

I never got that from MT-2 so I'm looking forward to the 141. I hope I don't end up with the 4 hr wood that a Dr. has to put a needle in!

PT141 wasn't even comparable with MT II for me... I even tried a 4mg dose and it basically didn't work at all. It might have kicked in 10 hours later but I can't be sure. MT II for me..
