Is 'bio-identical' testosterone the same thing as synthetic?

I'm currently on Trt with max, but am going to be moving to Canada in a few months. Unfortunately, I don't think my current compounding pharmacy will ship to Canada, so I've been looking for a new testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) provider.

Unlike in the states, it doesn't look like there are any private clinics in Canada who might offer similar services. The closest thing I've found are 'naturopath' docs who specialize in bio identical hormones.

So here's my question: if I go to one of these doctors to get my new prescription, they'll give me bio identical hormones (if they give anything). Is there any difference in these in terms of FUNCTION compared to the synthetic ones I get here in the states? Would I still be getting testosterone cyp or eth, just formulated from a different source? Or will it be something else entirely?

Thanks for any advice, and let me assure you I am NOT looking forward to the disruption I'm bound to suffer in my protocol once I make the move.

The stuff you are getting from Maximus is bio-identical. It just means that the chemical stucture is "biologically identical" to the human body's own natural testosterone. The reason big pharma companies make their testosterone slightly different molecularly is because you can't patent a hormone, but you can patent something that is say one molecule different than a hormone. You'll be fine bro. It won't be any different than what you get now, assuming the source is legit.

Yes it will be enan or cyp or prop or whatever they prescribe you. The bio-identical part will be the testosterone itself, not what it's suspended in.

What about having max ship it to an address in USA then you pick it up or have the people at the address send it to you, there would be no problem with customs either since you have a prescription. Maybe that would work for you?

Problem with sombeody else handling steroids is there is a risk for trouble. Its not like your mailing tylenol. Now is it something that law enforcement and or and shipping companies are looking for but still. Plus the added time of somebody receiving it then relying on it being sent to you. Just look for it in canada.

Yeah I agree just find some place up there. You should be fine.

If you're rubbing on a cream or gel it's bio-identical. If you're injecting it's synthetic. The creams/gels are a pain in the ass, unless of course you don't mind spending 10 minutes each morning rubbing the shit in. And no they are not C or E esters which is why you have to apply daily.
