Is it bad to prep a shot the day before?

Just wondering if it gives bacteria time to settle in. I like to draw my stuff the day prior because I use 25g needles and a lot of small air bubbles get in the syringe. The day gives them time to float to the top.

You will fine.Anything over a week I would be hesitate of the rubber stopper in the syringe breaking down pending what you pinning

Many people preload its a common practice.

Bro you need to go to tractor supply and get an 18 gauge needle. This is called a "draw Straw" you save it and use it to draw up your gear.

Preloading is cool. The small air bubbles are nothing to worry about by the way.
