Is this a serious injury and how should I adjust my workout

Booger1

Stickboy - not for long
So I got this sharp stabbing kinda pain along my left shoulder blade.Maybe cause Ive had bad posture on the rows or some other equally stupid mistake. It even hurts passing over potholes.

What should I do?

I certainly cant work the back or shoulders with any seriousness and even doing chest might put unnecessary stress on the shoulder blades. So am I just stuck with legs and abs? for how long? Should I wait untill the pain is completely gone or what?

Probably a muscle strain. Put a heating pad on it. Get it massaged. It should get better in a few weeks, maybe as long as 6 weeks. Do some stretching for it and try to avoid things that directly irritate it.

Once again you come through with excellent help.

Good I hope it helps. I ment to ask if this was in the area of the scapular retractors like the rhomboids/lower trapezius or up higher over the spine of scapula? Really doesn't make a difference the same applies.

I certainly wouldn't stop doing upper body, just avoid what directly works the area.
