Is this Normal?

I just recently started taking Enantest 250 (Animal Power) to try to put on some extra pounds and muscle. After taking the first shot in the upper butt, It has been about 5 days since that shot and I have an area on my butt were I did the shot that it light red, raised up about 1/4 inch and tigher then normal. It does kinda hurt but it isn't that bad, I have been rubbing it and trying to find ways to make it better but no luck. Is this normal or was something done wrong?

i am not a doctor or do i have a ton of experience w/ this, but after 5 days , you might be talking infection or an abcess....was everything steril?

your ok bro.. get a wet rag / towel , put it in the microwave for 5 mins, apply it to the area ! It'll get better !

What guage needle did you use, and most importantly...what length was the needle(1.5")??

You may not have injected deep enough, and/or some of the oil seeped upwards from the injection site, thus getting trapped underneath the skin rather than deep into the muscle. I have had this happen and it almost looks and feels like a bee sting. You will be fine if that is all that is wrong. It just takes awhile for the oil to dissapate from under the skin via the fat layer.

Apply hot & moist compresses to the area throughout the day.

I used a 22 guage needle that was about 2" long. I almost put the whole thing in, but you are right it might have started to come back up, I will start tonight with putting a warm cloth over it and I really appreciate all the help!!

Sometimes, its just your injection angle, or the actual gear. When I run QV, I get sore as shit for days. It usually takes, 5-6 days before I can even do legs. This isn't every shot, but every once in awhile. If it is infected, you will know bro. The redness and swelling will continue to get worse. Your fine bro.

Is it hot?

I injected with a 3/4" pin and apparently I didnt put it in deep enough and I had a lump on my ass that I could grab and just about lift away from my ass. It wasn't deep enough like the rest of my previous shots witha 1.5" needle where my muscle was sore and I couldnt grab it like that.

When you inject into fat by mistake, did you just waste a shot?

give it 7-10 days to go away....You injected 1cc right??? do not inject again on that side for atleast 2 weeks! warm showers and keep rubbing it.. make sure your using atleast 11/2 inch neddle

thats normal. i couldnt walk for a week after my first shot of qv ent. it seemed like each injection got less painful. ive injected 3 cc of prop in my left calve and ill tell you brotha i thought my leg would have to be amputated.

Inflammation results if you don't get it in the muscle. 2" is plenty long enough but you should always inject perpendicular to the skin. It will go down within a week.

I am starting to think that it is just the material being injected, all my supplies are hospital style and very sterile. I just did my second one last night on the other side, and I did only 1cc. I made sure I was going in perpendicular and I went in pretty deep. Soon as I was done I rubbed it and pushed hard to make sure that nothing would come back out or anything. That was around 8pm last night, then this morning I am noticing that the "new" area is starting to raise up and get like the other side. If this is normal and I am starting to think that, then I can get used to the feeling, but I have done other stuff in the past and never had this kind of aftermath. If it was infected, what options do I have to heal it without having to "go public" with my decision to do this?
