Japan Syringe/needle advice

Hello everyone.

I took a few weeks of vacation to Thailand, I'll be heading back to Japan on Sunday night. I got a good supply of gear (all within a 1 month supply) but am worried on what I'm going to do about needles.

Everything I've read says they are drug paraphernalia by Japan laws.

So I'm trying to think of my options.

I could try to smuggle them back in my luggage (I don't feel comfortable)

I could mail a package to my self, maybe with the pumps stuffed inside a stuff animal.

I could get a Thai prescription and try to bring them back legitimately (doubt it would work)

I could be honest and try to get a prescription in Japan

Or I could go to some shady areas of Tokyo and see what the nigerians have to offer.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions?
I've never tried to buy them at Japanese pharmacies but everything I've read online said they won't sale. And if you order in the mail, you'll have to show the post man a doctors note.

Thanks in advance!

hey bro i know a pro baller over there on gear so i'll e-mail him and see what he says. i think he mentioned he got everything online because it was the cheapest way.

wtf, pro baller???

just go to your doc and get it legally or get a legit ugl. dont try to smuggle it back with you

pro baller, as in a person who plays professional basketball in japan. he played with me in europe before going to japan. didn't think the term was all that confusing.

anyway, to the OP, he said getting needles there is a pain in the ass and he always buys from a site online and gets them shipped in. he recommended a place called cheappinz because he said their shipping was cheap.

R1rider, apparently it isn't easy getting on test legally there it seems, especially for foreigners. i dunno how the op is planning on bringing it in, but it can be done very easily and with virtually no risk. my boy also said that getting it locally is pretty expensive depending on who you go through.

i know what pro ballers are.........i was wondering baseball or soccer, wouldn't have thought basketball

sucks that you cant get AAS easily there legally

I hate to go off topic, but how is everything in japan?

haha my bad i love most sports but only ever played basketball seriously, so when i say "playing ball" or "yeah he plays pro ball" or "he's a baller" or anything lie that the only thing on my mind is hoops.

i've only been over there a couple of times and never tried getting stuff there, though i did take some in real icognito because i went for about a month. fucking sucks over there trying to play ball for fun, gotta pay to go to shitty gyms and there's like 30 dudes lining up to play and shit. very few outdoor courts too, even fewer worth a damn. but my boy gets paid pretty decent money, as non-NBA pros go. Japan has a pretty high pay scale for the better players.

depends on where you go, but euro money can be shit sometimes

I heard Japan is expensive; but has a high a unemployment rate. From guys who were in the Army and the Marines Japan is fun to around and visit.

FYI do you have lots of fun in Japan?

Hey guys,

Sorry for the late reply, I've been moving around Cambodia and Thailand and now I'm finally waiting for my last flight back to Japan.

But to answer the questions.

I live about 30 minutes north east from Ueno, a major train station in Tokyo. This area didn't receive major damage from big earthquake last year... But there has been close to 2000 after shocks since, and they have actually gotten more frequent and intense within the past few weeks. This has sparked a lot of debates on another big one.

Japan is EXPENSIVE! But if you play your cards right you can save a lot of money. Many of my coworkers like to go drinking afterwork. A normal hole in the wall bar beer costs between $7-$10. It's very easy to vaporize your earnings.

I pay $8 for 2 chicken medium size chicken thighs. A 280 gram beef steak is about $25,
About 20 grape size strawberries are about $10.

So yes... It's very expensive haha

But no doubt, it's a huge playground, the history, architecture, art, entertainment, etc is just a jewel!

they have costco there. i went when i swung through a few months back and got a bunch of thick juicy sirloins for under 10 bucks a pound, and 5lbs of chicken breasts for 7 bucks. the supermarket prices there were fucking stupid every time i've gone i've been blown away at how much i spend. yeah check out that site my buddy mentioned, cheappinz. he said their shipping is better than any other sites that send that stuff over and he's ordered hundreds and hundreds of pins and never had any trouble at all.

Yeah man, thanks for the site info. I'm gonna try an order when I get to Japan.

My girlfriend shops there for me sometimes, but usually I just walk to the closes supermarket... It's gonna hurt my wallet once I start my cycle!!

I need to check the forum rules, but I'd like to post pics of all the gear I got, along with progress photos. All for research purpose of course.

I got another 4 hours to kill in shanghai then a 3 hour flight to Japan.

But thanks again for the info!

you can post pics i believe, but if the bottles or boxes or anything that you have show website addresses or anything where a person could go to buy them, i think that is against the rules and has to be covered or blurred out or something. but there's a whole forum for pics.

man if you have a freezer you should definitely stock up at costco. that shit came in 600g packs for easy freezer separation, about 2 breast per pack, 4 packs for like 600 yen or something like that i can't remember exactly. fucking worth it for sure. that and shit like their canned albacore tuna, their salmon filets are the fucking bomb, and they have all natural instant mashed potatoes that are the shit too. a bag of frozen veggies, a bunch of that chicken, some packs of thick ass sirloin steaks, a few of the salmon filet slabs that were about 8 bucks a pound or so but fucking amazing, mashed potatoes, canned tuna and chicken for when on the go or just needing something quick..... all that was dirt cheap compared to supermarket prices and my boys there stock up on all that shit all the time. that's basically all i ate while over there. with some japanese meals thrown in too. and we'd hit up crazy good sushi joint sometimes. eating out was mostly shabu shabu, yakiniku, or that sushi place. i love it over there. might have to swing back through sometime.

Hello, I live in Tokyo. I am 24 years old and I am a dedicated, natural lifter. I have always been interested in trying some stuff out but I am afraid to, mostly due to lack of experienced people I could gain some knowledge from. Are you still living in Tokyo?

I'll try cheappinz but from what I've heard it's impossible to get syringes in Japan and they will be detected at customs if you just try and order them. I've tried asking doctors for syringes or just a prescription so I can go buy them, but no luck. Let me know if someone has firsthand experience in obtaining syringes here. Yes I live in Tokyo.
