All reviews online seem to be from 2008 and prior. The reviews I've seen are mostly negative.
It would seem by your posting here, that you have access to the internet. You should do more research before buying your supplies. There's nothing you can do to guarantee with absolute certainty, that you won't get ripped off. Doing your diligence before hand, will certainly sway the odds to your favor.
