So iv been on 250mg t eth for a year.

Had sperm stored to safe guard against having children.

Wife missed a period (unprotected sex) due to me thinking I would be infertile with a LH reading of 0. But to our surprise and shock she's 3 weeks pregnant.

Is this common? I'm guessing I can't thus rely on no protection, at the time I was even on a blast of 500mg test...

Lots of guys on TRT have gotten women pregnant. Happens all the time. You were silly to assume you were infertile.

Or the Milk Man helped out...

That was my first thought too.

Yeh we have been together 6 years, good sex life. She's very loyal as was previously cheated on by her first love so I can for a fact rule that our. The period she conceived (3-4 weeks ago) we were on a family vacation for two weeks and she didn't leave my side so...

It happens man got.my gf pregnant as well
Strap up.man

Guess so, does that mean I could remain fertile for a long while on trt? Was one of the main things that made me get sperm stored at a heavy cost and also hesitate starting for a year before symptoms just got too much

It means maybe. Using hCG helps a lot. And you always have hMG in your back pocket.

I just read about HMG on another website. The article did say that HMG mimics FSH as said above but then later on it says that HMG is far superior to HCG because HCG just mimics LH but HMG raises natural LH production..... This is wrong I believe. Right?

Also can you use HCG and HMG together??

Not a clue tbh as I can't get hcg prescribed in the uk.. I'd like to run it occasionally to keep the boys working (cost too much longer term) but not sure how you would dose it for that purpose... I'm obviously fertile anyway.

Not sure on hmg and raising natural LH production....but I do know that fertility clinics utilize hcg and hmg together in some of their protocols.

Well.....congratulations!

And if you both are really against having the child, aren't able to provide for it, aren't in a good place or any other personal reasons - I hope you have a plan for what you wish to do
i.e. keeping the child throughout gestation or aborting early (if you're able to do so financially, personally, emotionally, legally)

Just remember folks:

It takes ONE of those little overzealous bastards to make a baby. Congrats if unexpected but welcomed! :)
