Keeping my dose

Last week I went and got some blood work done to see where I was sitting. I did this independently, and the blood draw with my doctors office is 56 days into the cycle, coming up in October. The levels three weeks in came back 1,340 ng/dL, pretty high, and that's with 200 mg a week of test cyp and HCG. The amount of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) I inject daily gives me a boost of 400 ng/dL I've calculated, so the test cyp has raised me to around 900 ng/dL. I don't want that reading at my next bloodwork obviously because my doc will cut the dose in half, so I plan on tapering down a bit before mid-October. Tell me what you think.

56 days on 200 mg of test cyp

Day 56: 90mg T, 0mg E/D/T

90 mg on day 56 would then translate to something like..400..and then that would come out to be too low, so maybe 80 mg that last week?
I know its a lot to take it..lol
Thanks in advance

Im confused on what your asking or to lazy to decipher lol.

Shorten it up please, what are you asking ? :)

I did that much, its not a question out of laziness lol. I really just wanted to make sure what I calculated sounds about right, if you understand what it means and what I want from it. I want my blood work to come back midrange, not in the upper thousands. On WEEK THREE: 193.2 mg = 900 ng/dL, and after all that calculation day 56
90 mg would then translate to something like..400 ng/dL, no?

Yep, I do the same thing. I try to make sure my blood tests for my local doc come in at a lower range. For my last blood test I simply waited 7 days from my last pin ... the numbers came out absolutely perfect (not too low, not too high). I have since reduced my dose but I will probably do the same thing for the next test. The calculations can only take you so far. You're just going to have to estimate. Since my next "official" blood test is not for a few months I will probably do a practice run with PrivateMDLabs. Once I see the numbers I can adjust the timing from there.

Note: I don't change my dose to get my numbers down. I just wait a few extra days - do the blood draw - and then resume my normal dose and schedule

How much are you on lucius?

really the only way to do it are a couple of ways. make sure the blood test is near the end of your last weekly shot cycle. Dont sleep the night before and drink the night before help kill your numbers. Or you can just not take a shot all together the week before. But from what I gather your really not on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) but more of a mini cycle. If you are on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) then truely the least amount to get you in a satisfactory range is all you need.

Still working on lowering the dose. My current dose is 80mg every 5 days. At 100mg every 5 days I was at almost 1400 in the trough. I felt great, estrogen was fine, but my hemoglobin numbers were getting elevated. I'll do a blood test in about 2 weeks and see how the numbers look.

Right now I'm working with IMT but I also have a local doc. It's just easier to keep the local doc in the picture at this stage. My local doc expects to see lower numbers ~ in the sub 600 range. It's simpler if I just keep everyone happy by "adjusting" the blood test results for the local doc. I'm basically shooting for being in the 800-900 range in the trough. Just looking for the minimum dose that will get the job done (now that all my "low T" symptoms are in check). Hopefully the hemoglobin numbers will stay reasonable once I get there.

Mini cycle..lol, that's what its become. I started out on androgel 4 pumps a day, that got my levels to 1,200 and I gained 40 pounds of mass (no joke) with Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) as well. Then I was on 100 mg a week, now 200 mg a week and honestly I'd rather mini cycle than just settle for "satisfactory"

Have you been gaining weight/mass?

I am ... I did a thread on peptides:

http://www.steroidology.com/forum/testosterone-replacement-therapy/630101-trt-peptides-ghrp2-ghrp-6-sermorelin-imt.html

Between the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and peptides I was able to cut 14lbs of fat and gain 16lbs of muscle .... in 4 months. It's amazing what ~100mg of test per week, some peptides and some gym time can do (and I am in my 50s). With the lower dose I expect smaller gains, but so far so good.

which is fine but a doc is only going to treat to satisfactory levels according to present medical science and literature, at least most will there are some that wont and clinics can be better. But if he lowers your dose the only way to get the extra is going to be undergound or with a clinic. But like I said above those are some ways to kill your numbers.

Yep, I definitely understand your wanting to keep the levels higher. I feel a bit better with my levels up at 1400 in the trough. I would have left them there if the hemo would stay a bit lower. If I find the lower dose is not getting the job done, the dose will get increased and I'll donate blood more often. The local doc likes to treat to specific blood levels and this does not always get the job done for everyone.

probably. its easier to just use the rule of 10. so if your 90mg day 7 should be 450. its usually pretty close.

When I said lazy I meant I am too lazy to decipher :chomp:

I agree completely. He wasn't opposed to giving me 200 so I'm not opposed to taking it.

Its getting to be that time, so I calculated it out and I ended up going with 175 mg ten days before my blood work on the 19th. It came out looking like
Day 45 (Tuesday the 9th): Injection- 390
Day 46- 360
Day 47- 330
Day 48- 300
Day 49- 270
Day 50-240
Day 51- 210
Day 52- 180
Day 53- 150
Day 54- 120

That's 54 days on test cyp, and how many mg's I end up with on day 54
With 165 mg I had a test of roughly 1,000 give or take 100 ng/dL.
With 120 I'm hoping to come back with a test around 800 or 900.
Det said 90 mg usually equates to 450 ng/dL, so I'm thinking that I'm good.
Any comments?

I am confused as to how you are establishing your ng/dl levels and the amount of test leaving your system per day . Is there an equation or rule to help establish those numbers? If so, I would love to know how to calculate. Sorry no help just questions!

Just the decreasing of half-lifes really. If you look at the first chart posted, it'll show how 200 mg of testosterone will decrease within a week, and when blood levels eventually stabilize. At the end of week two (day 14) I didn't inject and had labs taken for testosterone. My total testosterone came back 1,300 on that day, so I can assume that since there was 165 mg of testosterone left, 165 equates to about 900-1,000 mg in me individually. I say 900 because I'm on HCG too and that itself has always given me around a 300 ng/dL boost looking back at blood work. This means that since I injected about 175 mg yesterday, and I have ten days until my next lab, my levels should come back around 700-900 ng/dL just based on what happened before.

I guess the confusing part to me is how does the test level in your system ever get higher than 300 with a dose of 200mg e7d. It would seem that with a half life of 7 days the original injection would be gone at day fourteen leaving you with only half of the second injection, 100mg + the 200mg from the new injection. On day 15 you have listed 350mg...can you elaborate as I am trying to put something together similar prior to my blood test.
