Law enforcement and drug testing?

Hey guys,

Before anybody asks, I've already researched previous posts for a while. Though they contained really good information, they did not relate exactly to my situation.

My question is, do police officers get drug tested for anabolic steroids? It's states that they do but in reality do they? I know they get drug tested, but what are they usually for? If someone was to be taking tren-a and had to take a piss test, would it pop up in the test?

i dont think so man , im not 100% sure but i think what they are looking for are narcotics , not sure about other countries tho , im in canada , and i dont think they search for steroids but i cant be 100% sure either .

quick search on google and reading a few threads seems as though they are NOT tested for steroids and testing is very expensive for this , but i mean , Ronnies a cop

hes got a prescription for it, LOL but to answer ur question op, you get tested for drugs when you're apart of the hiring process, even have to do polygraph test, if u take steroids or any other illegal drugs, enjoy the 5 year wait after you get on the force though, dont juice right away, wait a few years and then you can start juicing, if you ever get caught, they'll turn their heads

In the US yes they will test you and yes it will come up on a test, its barely over $100 to send in a urine test and the test covers ALL steroids.

same goes for canada they test u pretty hard, urine test + polygraph test, they ask if youve done it without 5 years, if you say yes, they drop you, if you say no but managed to get caught youll be dropped, some people will tell you that all they want is honestly, its total bullshit, second your found taking illegal substance, youll be dropped from hiring process

Yeah, watch his video, he's in a cop car scarfing down chicken right before he arrested some kid. He's actually a funny cop. Also from what I read is that if there is suspicion they test for steroids. They normally don't because it is a different test and it cost more money.

cops aren't a scam theres a shit ton of cops who do the job for the right reasons, at the end of the day, they're the ones attending calls where they could be killed at any minute.... and evidence from a scene is taken in, this aint some shit where a cop finds ur weed and decides to keep it for himself, it all goes in, if you want drugs you go and u buy them, not take them from a scene.. its like when u go inside a house of a drug dealer and you see thousands of dollars,you cant take a single dollar , maybe higher up in the rankings you might be but i only know low

Remeber they will also do a polygraph and they do ask if you have ever uswd an illegal substance. You fail poky theres a good chance u wont get picked up. When I retired I tried going out for local police dept. Since I could not tell them the xact ammount of times I smoked dope between ages 11-14 they dropped me from hiring proceas. Yes I could not give them a hard number with out lying and they wanted a hard number. What a bunch of dousche bags period. They want you to lie to catch in a lie and then they stop yournprocess and if another agency inquires why they stopped the process they can say it was because of being deceitful so that automatically kills your chances anywhere else. No i dont have a good opinion of cops or their tactics.
