lean bulk

ok im finaly going to try to lean up. i have always bulked. i started this week with a new diet but it sucks. i want to get lean for summer but still gain muscle and suer as hell not lose eny muscle. just tone up a little and get some abs showing. the shit im eating know makes me feel hungry and i know ill lose muscle. need help please.i need more of a varioty and more protien
7am 5 egg whites 1/2 cup oatmeal

930am 4-6oz salmon,salad

12-1230pm 4-6 oz chicken breast 1/2 cup brown rice

330pm 5 egg whites, salad

600pm 60z chicken , rice

before bed 42g shake
 
why are you so sure you'll lose muscle? The diet doesnt look that bad to me. Although there is not much protein in 5 egg whites. You've got protein leafy greens and complex carbs. Keep trainning hard you should be ok. Did you read the cutting thread sticky at the top of this section?
 
dude your posts never make sense and are vague as hell.

the title of the thread is "lean bulk". Bulk means gain weight, get bigger. But the thread is actually about losing weight. wtf. and im pretty sure ive told you before that you need to include personal stats and a little bit of background info when making posts like that.

its really not that hard transitioning from "bulking" to "cutting". Lowering your carb intake and including carbs only for breakfast, pre workout, post workout, and earlier in the day should do wonders in the begnning stages. You dont have to completely reconstruct your diet. You shouldnt be eating so much food when gaining weight that you need to do a complete diet-180 in order to lose weight in the first place.
 
im 6'2 215 i want to gain muscle but cut out certain things for summer to look a little better/leaner. just wondering some good meals. going to store tomorrow

Ok, look heres the deal: You need more protein in a huge way.

Get some fast acting protein in a shake, like a CFM Isolate Whey. You also need to increase the egg whites per meal up to 8-9 at least. When you take the yolk out, you lose a couple grams of protein, and it varies depending on the egg.

I would keep the carbs to brown rice, broccoli, asparagus, zucchini, squash, sweet potatoes, oatmeal.....man oatmeal is awesome.

Split your meals up to 7 a day, and you can incorporate a few shakes in their to keep you sain from having to eat solid whole food all day long. It helps me.

Drink lots of water, up to 2 gallons if you can do it.

Buy some frozen mahi mahi, or orange roughfy (sp?) fillets, ff turkey for turkey burgers, ect. You get the picture.

Throw some fruit in for fiber, like bananas or granny smith apples. Limit to 2 a day total.

Try eating carbs for your in between meals only, like the Anafit Diet. No carbs for the first 4 hours upon waking, and none after 6pm.

That's my .02 cents.

Agree with Suareezay, you do need to list stats, bodyfat, goals, ect.

dont we all.

generally youre only going to be able to accomplish one thing at a time. if its summer, and you want to be leaner, then youre going to have to do a "cut". Forget about gaining muscle, and concentrate on maintaining strength and keeping muscle loss to a minimum.
 
YOUREE DIET LOOKS GOOD IM A HOMO . IN MY OPINION. I THINK U SHOPULD ADD MORE RED MEAT. I LIKE THICK MEAT. LIKE TRI TIP STEAK. DA BEST. suareazy doesnt know WHAT THEY ARE TALKI8NG ABOUT. GOOD JOB. N IT.
