Left Side Lagging!!!!

Well-Informed
Ok this is getting to be the most annoying problem I've been dealing with and the stronger I get the more noticible it gets. I've been lifting for a solid seven years now and in the past two years I have been noticing more and more that my left side isn't keeping up with my right in size and strength this includes everything from lats all the way to my abs, legs I am not sure too many knee surguries to know. Plus during and after my workout my left side doesn't get or feel as pumped as my right side. I was wondering if anyone has any tricks or routine that may help out. stats 6'4 255 15%bf

Things i've tried

Dumbell workouts- Works the best but is quit annoying after a while

Looking at the muscle while lifting- Not a big fan

Concentrating on each muscle involve on that side with every contraction- still have yet to feel or see a result.

On barebell exercises make sure that you keep your form as strict as possible, ensuring that the load is distributed evenly. You may have to drop your working weights a bit, but it will help.

I was thinking the same on the lowering the weight, I've been keeping it pretty well controlled, but I'll give it a try. I was maybe thinking something simular to the scoliosis comment, because I feel almost feel like i'm not as conected mentally to my left side as in muscle control than my left, maybe thinking something nuerogical almost. Might be since I've been playing football for a long time now. I've heard a few stories like this from people who have taken constant blows to the head over long periods of time, hope I'm just paraniod :druggie:

I have a similar problem but with my right side even though I do most things right-handed. I've noticed it for years now. I've had it checked out by a few doctors and they've all said it falls within normal variation.

same here bro. noticing some lagging on the right leg but not much though. check-up!!!
don't have scoliosis...genetics prolly...ah well

Thanks bro's for the info, going to see a chiropracter maybe they can line me up or something. Also noticed my form changing a bit so I went lighter today and made sure that i wasn't raising my left shoulder of the bench. Not sure how long I've been doing this but I'm sure is could only be recent cuz its only gotten real bad in the past few months when I've been increasing my weights. Thanks again!!!
