did my jab today everything as normal procedure as i pulled it out a big stream of blood came out could i have hit a vein on the way out just abit nervous as this is the first time its happened i asperated so i no i wasnt in obe thanks for any replys

Probably went through one. I've never done it, but as I understand it, you can go through one and see no blood when you aspirate, but still have a lot of bleeding when you take the needle out. It should be fine.

You'll be fine, Andy. Just a cut that followed the pin. If you clotted just fine you have nothing to worry about.

yes, if bleeding stopped from applied pressure of covering the site up.

you went through a vein on the way in as long as you aspirated and no blood your fine when i do quad shots i have a cotton ball on hand for the sole fact thats the only spot that squirts blood on me so far and i rather not have to add cleaning up the floor lol

Oh, OP: Getting gear actually into a blood vessel is not only very difficult to do, but as most vessels close immediately after being cut, the amount of oil you can get in there is so small it's really not worth worrying about. I think the worst I've ever had it was when I had a gusher that did get a small bit of oil in it and I had a slight metallic taste in my mouth for an hour. Just wait for when you nick a nerve, that'll wake you up in a hurry!
