Legalize Steroids

I have a idea for the legalization of steroids and I would like others input. I think that marijuana will become legal at some point (seeing as its one of the biggest cash crops, yet illegal). I think it will be used to stimulate the economy. Once legal I believe it may be easier to get other things legal (within reason). Obviously Meth will always be illegal (I hope). Either way once marijuana becomes legal I think this is worth a shot.

Present the idea to a state gov. representative That steroids should be legalized under specific conditions.
1. Those who want to buy steroids much first be at lease 25 years of age.
2. A 18 weeks class must be completed on the use of steroids (most popular to least popular AAS, each one in detail), their effects, pct and on cycle therapy. Student must have a "A" to be able to pass the class. The class once passed allows one to obtain a "Steroid License"
3. Those who have completed the class, and are 25 or over have to get full blood work done and overall health evaluated by a doctor. If everything turns out well one can get a script from a doctor to get the drugs he/she wants at a pharmacy. If results of blood work/health exam are bad then the issues will be dealt with before he/she can get the scrips for the cycle he/she has discussed with his/her doctor.

I just don't think some 15 year old kid should be using AAS. Also someone who is uneducated and "just wants to get buff". People would ruin there endocrine systems, and have health problems from not being educated on how to used them properly, and responsibly. This would result in AAS being illegal again, because there are stupid people out there (take people who died from ephedrine for example).

Sorry but no one will care how much knowledge you have on the subject for proper use. I'm sure there are many guys who can tell you how to properly use and make most drugs and I spent a couple years studying drugs but that really has nothing to do with legalization

Take medical marijuana. Do you think they care if people know how to roll or grow or anything else. Drugs are only legal for having a medical purpose outside of tobacco and alcohol.

And technically some steroids are legal with a dr script. Just like other meds you have to show a need for them. I do think it's crazy you can have any plastic surgery you want for cosmetic reasons but can't use gear but oh well and uneducated people make up a large portion of any type of drug use. Most people just use them, not research them.

Knowing how to roll o joint and knowing how to maintain health and testicular function while on AAS are very different. Also I'm not talking about making drugs, I'm talking about using AAS. All I am saying is if they use this method to legalized AAS for the public, then we will have less trouble keeping it legal because there will be more people educated on there usage. On another note AAS are very different from other drugs (Meth, Cocaine, Ex, heroin and other opium related drugs). A girl I went to school with recently got addicted to hydrocodone, and tried to rob a pharmacy for all their hydros. Meth heads tried to rob my house for meth money. This behavior is not usually seen with those who use AAS.

Just making a quick point, all you guys say that you don't want kids using roids.
Lee Priest started when he was 13-15? look at him now.
If you guys told Lee Priest to lay off juice when he was young, he might not be in the position he is now.

Steroids will never be legal because they will alter the outcome of athletes, change society completely, possible spreading of diseases will increase

How many people do you know who get depressed on Alcohol? I have seen my own mother who is giving/soft and wouldn't kill a fish, completely flip out and start hitting people and abusing them.. (For no reason)
She even abuses me for no reason when shes drunk, i will walk passed the kitchen when shes drunk and all i hear is "What the F**K do you want C**T" and im just like "Shut the F**K up".. then she will start attacking me and using her Security tactics against me its hilarious but screwed up at the same time.

While I agree that weed is getting closer and closer to becoming legal, I disagree that this will expedite the legalization of other substances. The legalization of weed may actual cause the govt to lockdown on other substances so it doesn't get out of control...

Also, while your idea sounds nice in terms of users not getting busted, it honestly probably would not be good for society as a whole (as other member has already pointed out). What would be nice though is an education campaign to get the average person educated on the truth about anabolics.

Also, you gotta remeber that legislation isn't just passed because a handful of people want something done this nation (ideally) runs on majority rule democracy- there would have to be overwhelming support for the legalization.

Plus knowledge of the legislative process is key here- not only is popular support needed, the cause (legalizing roids) would need to be presented to law-makers from a variety of sources with some solid argumemts- with scientific, social, and cultural evidence of how it will benefit people or the nation.
On that note- I don't think there are enough individuals or big businesses (people with lots of money) who are willing to lobby for the cause- you know congress- whether state or federal- doesnt pass legislation for shits and giggles- what are they getting out of it?

bottom line- too many people are uneducated on anabolics and there simply is not enough support for lawmakers to consider it much less pass anything

Never happen. In CA you can get weed for headaches..in my backasswards state you ll get fkn time for possession of over an ounce. Lose your kid s for a failed urine test...while the judge who did it walks out of the casino that night fucked on wine after gambling..and then sit s in church as a pillar of justice. hahaha.

That alcohol is legal yet the number 1cause of family issues spousal abuse THE gateway drug (not weed) the number one liguid drug in lowering one s inhibtions is an affront to my intelligence.

no need to control it even 1%. if ppl abuse it and harm them self ..let them do that....i could"nt believe alcohol is so much unhealthy when compared to roids and weed..... alcohol promotes risk taking behavior,..its toxic too....i would not get worried if my brother takes few winni tabs to look hot....but if he smokes or take alcohal...i"ll beat the shit out of him..,,,alcohal is fav drug of wife beater....weed makes ppl happy..loving.... and steroids are healthy...if not abused.

Yes, I am not saying people will not do dumb things once they require the "steroid license" from my plan, that is there choice. But if they have passed the class with an "A" and they buy them for their kids, they will know the risk of kids taking steroids and post cycle therapy (pct). I know people will do dumb things, but the risk of people doing dumb things with AAS will be cut down drastically once they know how to properly use them. Plus if you go to a State Gov rep. and say "We should legalize steroids", he will prob. blow it off, but if you approach him/her with a plan and some evidence supporting your point of view you have a much higher chance of this idea being presented to higher powers.

I agree totally. In Michigan you can now get a card to grow weed in your house. But I agree about the steroids there needs to a age limit and courses to certify a person.
