hitting legs twice a week is becoming a possibility for me as they just dont grow ive tryed basically everything even on cycle they just dont grow or get the seperation my arms r similiar. im just thinking ill belt my legs twice a week how would u guys go about it . i only hit chest/back and arms once thier all doing ok :elephant:

Twice a week leg training is fine. I did it for the first 5 years of my training career and that approach produced the most significant growth in my quads, hams, and calves.

There are a couple things to think about...

Get the first leg session in at the very beginning of the week - i.e. Monday training session.

Mix it up - don't do the same routine twice in the same week. Although it may produce results, you'll get bored and stale over time.

Stay away from the "low reps" type of sessions. Keep your reps in the 8 rep range and above. Constant doubles, triples, and sets of 5 on things like squats and leg press is more for your ego than your legs.

Those are a few of the techniques that I found most useful for twice a week leg train and they help me build a pro caliber set of wheels.

Heavy weights were great for power for me but I found medium weight hi reps and the deepest range of motion ATG or knees to face gave me some of the best growth

If u do shit load of long high intensity cardio that might be the answer I also think doing legs twice a week is overtraining

This is the only part that isn't just your opinion. We get it, all of your training posts are high rep/volume. Doesn't work for me nor will it work for everyone. You should moderate the tone of your "advice" so you stop sounding like a know-it-all douchebag.

Since the original poster was asking for opinions I'd say he welcomed the the input and my opinion is no more or less valid than yours.

As for my tone, I am really not clear as to why you have a problem with it but I'd say that it seems to be an issue for you and you alone.

Regardless, thanks for your valuable contribution to this topic.
