Whats up bros, welcome to my log. I'm hoping you guys drop in and hang out and have some good discussions as I don't really want to post in here just to talk to myself, I'd like for it to be active. This is my first cycle ever and here it is:

Stats
Age: 23
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 191lbs (started at 185lbs)
Bf%: my guess would be 14-15% ish

Pic attached was taken at 191lbs on 6/19. Yes, my chest is shit, I know, my main priority is bringing it up so any advice is appreciated. Main arm vein was out like crazy on both sides today. This makes me feel my bf is less...but I hold more fat in my "love handles", under each pec and the bottom of my stomach...I probably should've cut a little before starting but oh well

Goals
Go from 185lbs starting to 205-210 with a reduction in body fat from 14-15% to 11-12%

Cycle
Weeks 2-5 --- Dbol 40mg ED
Weeks 1-12 --- Test E 500mg/wk
Weeks 1-12 --- Aromasin 6.5mg ED
Weeks 4-13 --- Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) 500iu/wk

PCT - 2 full weeks after last pin
Weeks 1-4 --- Torem 90/60/60/30

Nolva on hand if needed

I am in week two, started on 6/8. I decided at the last minute to include the dbol which is why I did not run it first week. Today was my second day on dbol. I also have some T3 I will contemplate using later in the cycle for a little bit of a recomp if needed.

Obviously I haven't noticed any test sides/effects yet. As I said today was my second day on dbol. I take 20mg in the morning and the other 20mg 30-45 minutes before lifting. I worked back and bis today and absolutely murdered it and hit PRs on all my main lifts. I'll probably include my workouts when I hit PRs, which should be every time. Routine is a simply push/pull...M/Th is chest/delts/tris, T/F is legs/back/bis. I typically do 10-12 sets for my main muscle groups (chest, back) but am contemplating upping that. Thoughts? Note that I do hit each twice a week.

Todays workout (skipped squats due to time constraint)

BB row - 185x2x6, 195x6 (PR)
Lat PD - 210x4x8 (PR)
DB row - 85x4x12 (rep PR)
EZ bar curl - 65x3x15

Pump was crazy and I felt huge. The heavier weights felt like nothing. Maybe placebo since it's only day 2 on dbol, but I'll take it...

Diet

Currently adding the final touches, I'll post it in the next few days. It's all egg whites, chicken breast, oats, bananas, milk, sweet potatoes, rice, whey

People go on at different times for different reasons. You are right, but waiting another few years to go on doesn't really do much for me to be honest. Trust me, I am doing it right and I am going to blow up, I guarantee it ;)

Cycle looks solid and should be a fun run bro. Enjoy and best of luck. Train and eat like there is no tomorrow, drink lots of water, and sleep as much as you can and you will achieve what you set out to do

Thanks man, I'm already loving it and it hasn't even begun yet! Thanks for the water reminder, I was a little low on my intake today. I am so incredibly excited to make this transformation, and like I said I guarantee this cycle will be a huge success. Already planning my next: tren/mast/prop most likely haha
 
Putting on that much muscle AND lowering your body fat at the same time will not be easy. It's not that hard to loose weight, but putting muscle on takes work. I would focus on really upping your calories and EAT EAT EAT. Focus on muscle growth while you're on cycle and cut afterwards. But who knows, maybe you can do both at the same time, me, at my age, no way. Best of luck!

It will probably happen at first, gaining in muscle and losing fat, since he's not near genetic potential. If he gets his training and diet down pat I'd expect to see such "recomp" gains in the beginning few weeks. After that you're absolutely right it will get much much more difficult.

Looks like you have everything planned out well and I'm subbing to watch your transformation, seems like your gonna make some big gains!

I'd seriously just focus on eating every "clean" food item you can find within 50 yards and enjoy the ride of gaining some real mass. No reason you can't hit 205-210 or more if you've done your caloric calculations right and adjust every couple weeks for the new weight.

That was a bit of an exaggeration on my part... I'm hitting at the same point Rumpy was making, focusing on growth and worrying about cutting later. If he's pounding down bags of candy vs cups of brown rice, then that's an issue obviously.
 
I agree with doc, but overall I just like eating clean. When I eat dirty, even within my cals and macros, I just feel gross overall.

Anyways thanks ocdude, but I really think I should lose a little body fat. We will see how it goes though, my main priority is definitely lean mass though

I happen to agree with both of you in regards to what his goals should be and Tex actually has a thread in the diet section where he's been getting help with regards to nutrition from 3J and a few others. As long as he sticks to it and trains his ass off, he'll see results. And being that he has much more room to grow I believe the first few weeks will be a recomp effect/slight shift in body composition which is not uncommon when you first apply proper nutrition and training fundamentals, plus he has AAS going for him as we'll. will it be drastic, obviously not, but it will happen to some degree. After that, as you said, it will slow down and he should not worry about fat and bulk on a surplus with good training.

And the example you gave of candy and brown rice is reductio ad absurdum, a logical fallacy of appealing to extremes, which hurts your argument not aids it.
 
I had a pretty shitty start to the day and decided to train fasted around 1pm - weighed in at 190lbs before lifting (as I said on empty stomach). Dips were slightly disappointing but the rest of the lifts were solid. Pump was crazy in my triceps while doing the pulldowns. I realize I love hitting DB incline after dips, I REALLY feel it in my chest and it feels great. I'm also trying hard to focus on squeezing my pecs when working them, and I think the workout I am doing is really going to give me solid growth in my pecs (let's hope). As for the cable crossovers...I've decided I want to do 6 sets with them (bumping my overall sets for chest to 12) and on my second push workout do 6 sets starting high going to mid, and on my first push day starting low and going to mid. We'll see how it works out for growth. If anyone with a solid chest has any advice for really maximizing growth feel free to share it, as I said it's obviously my worst bodypart and I'm really trying to bring it up. The little bit of fat I'm holding under each really bothers me

It may have been in my mind but I felt my nips itch once or twice very quickly this morning. Upped my Aromatase inhibitor (AI) dosage to 12.5mg aromasin ED from 6.5mg.

Pinned my right glute last night and man do I get impatient pushing just 1 ml through a 23g. I feel like I have to push pretty hard and it takes a while. To be honest, I felt less pip using a 21g 1" on my FIRST injection, but maybe I just didn't hit deep enough (now I am using 23g 1.5")

I'm not gonna write if the are PRs anymore unless it's a big one and I'm pumped about it, you'll see the weights constantly going up anyways. Now it's time to cram in 3000cals haha

Absolutely beasted my workout today. Very happy with strength increases in DB rows and lat PD. Felt like I could've done even more with DB rows, might try for 115s next time instead of only jumping up to 110s. Felt a little tweak in my rear left delt at the end of the workout though...hopefully that goes away, no time to let up or take days off if I don't HAVE to. Weighed in at 192lbs beforehand

Solid chest workout today. Started warming up light for DB incline and that pain running from my collar bone into my front delt started again, but went away once I went heavier. BUT my OTHER actual front delt felt a little irritated for a few minutes after I finished my first few sets. Argh. Very happy with the incline DB sets, the second set where I bumped it to 85 felt like cake, but I guess the third wore me out. Gonna try for all three at 85 next week. Weighed in at 193lbs

Delt and trap pumps were pretty painful, the cable cross overs really destroyed them I guess, which is why I didn't do any direct delt work. Attached is a comparison from the start of my cycle (6/8) to today, the start of my third week on test and the start of my second week on dbol (6/24) a total change of 16 days. Let me know if you can notice any changes so far for such a short time period. My difference in weight is 183lbs in the first pic and 193lbs in the second. The gf/ex gf whatever she is says I look bigger all over. We also had sex three times yesterday but that isn't too unusual haha my libido is high typically anyways.View attachment 551839

Killed it in the gym again yesterday. Never have hit this high weight in BB rows and I expect it to keep climbing. My lat pd keeps shooting up as well, damn. Weighed in at 195lbs before my workout. Should I expect more bloat as time goes on? I don't feel very bloated at all at 12.5mg aromasin ED. Not sure if the bloat will increase as I get more into the dbol (9 days in)

Lol my wife grabbed my arm 4 weeks in and said where the hell did that come from?! She didn't like it much, and turned out to be this ridiculous notion I was trying to turn into one of those big ugly bodybuilders and then get aggressive and start beating her or something! Better figure out what she's willing to accept sooner than later dude
