hey guys n girls . need some advice on shifting my abdominal fat , at the bottom of my stomach its got a little flabby any best ways to shift it ? or will situps do the job ? or will i have to do a bit cardio work to shift a bit more bf? as u can tell im a newbie lol

Well you can't shift body fat. Some people carry it in different places than others. Diet and training is key to get rid of body fat. If you're fairly low body fat already, then you'll have to diet ultra hardcore to get it gone. Sit-ups alone just won't help you with that. Some people respond to cardio, others don't in the same way.. I'm the type that can lift and diet, but don't need tons of cardio to lose the fat. If my diet isn't dead on, it doesn't matter how much cardio I do, I'll still hold fat. Everyone is programed a bit differently that way. You just have to figure out what combination of diet, cardio, lifting your body responds best to.

ahhh i see thanks for the response , well im on a bulk up plan at the moment so i dont really want to start shifting to much bf and doing cardio ect untill ive reached a size im happy with , when i get there my plan is to give shifting my bf % a go and get a more ripped looked :)

Well if you're bulking, I say bulk and realize that your mid-section leaning out needs to go on the back-burner till you're done with your cycle. Not saying to eat like crap. And some may just be mere water retention. Make sure your water intake is up.
Doing cardio won't hurt your bulk per say as long as you don't go overboard with it. I personally like some good plyometric cardio 2x a week because I just crank the music and zone out. It's a good stress reliever for me, so I work it in cause I like doing it.

yeah well thats the thing ive been worried about is cardio i havent been doing much of it as i didnt want to loose any weight i want to pile it on , ive been doing like 10-20mins here and there before i start my weights like 10mins on the rower and 10mins on the bike or treadmill ect .. so i am safe for a bit more cardio then thank god for that lol :D
