i just got sum recent blood work done because i am scared i got an std and i never have done an std test.... and any way the nurse called me back 2 days later and told me 2 of my liver values are raised, one of the being the ALT is double the normal range and the other one is slighty raised i belive the range should be 3-75 mine is 98 and the other one is really high....

my question is i have been on PROP for about 8 weeks and wondering if its because of the prop my liv values are high or because i just recently started takin dbol 60 mgs aday and this is why my values are raised???? thanks alot

many things cause elevated liver values besides steroids , the prop shouldnt abd the dbol might raise them that much.
are you drinking much alcohol , takeing much over the counter meds like tylenol/cold and flu meds/etc. ? also a HEAVY workout is supposed to TEMPORARILY raise your liver values but im not sure about that .
my only elevated liver values were from tylenol and flu meds .

when i did my second cycle, it was a heavier cycle and i took alot of milk thistle with it. had regular bloodwork done and they wasnt any increase at all with my liver values.

If my cpk is up from muscle damage my ast and alt will be up,just over the high end of normal but can go up as high a 2x normal high end. They always go back to baseline after cpk goes down and while I am on test dbol or whatever.Ast and Alt are not great tests to check for liver fuction if you have muscle damage.Use GGT test, but that does go up alot if you drink alot so if you dont drink much it is a good test for liver function.

If you are lifting weights your cpk levels will be up because you have muscle damage and that will raise ast alt.Next time make sure you are rested and check your cpk levels also.If your cpk levels are not up but your ast alt is then you need to check a little deeper.I have seen my cpk levels 2x the top end when I am training hard.

this is directly after a workout though...

and btw 60mg dbol/day is pretty high. More than likely to raise liver values in most people.

No it takes about 48 hrs to hit peak cpk levels it does not go up right after a workout.Get your ast alt done when your cpk levels are low normal not when you are training. It is eccentric muscle work that is causing the damage ie the lowering phase of the lift and if you are training hard you are going to have damage.Highest amount of soreness is around peak cpk levels give or take a little.Bottom line get your baseline levels and dont use ast,alt values that are high if your cpk is high because muscle damage raises ast.alt values.GGT is a better picture of what is going on in the liver.I have never had high liver values while on and that includes orals and ast,alt always normal when cpk is normal.Tylenol will trash your liver dont take it.If you drink alot that will raise them.Thats the thing guys will say I am on a oral and my liver values are up but who knows what else they are taking.

i agree in saying that many people take other things including pain killers etc.. but i highly doubt his raised liver values are from muscle damage due to a workout.

get them tested again, the doc's usually do it twice anyways. and let us know the results TripleHHH

Its funny my cpk is up when I have muscle and my ast,alt are up also. When my cpk is normal my ast,alt are normal and I am still on the same stuff ie test, dbol, deca.I dont take pain killers and I dont drink. The only thing different is the muscle damage level which is why the cpk level is high which will raise ast,alt levels. Why not get the cpk levels done to get a better picture, you cant use just ast,alt to check the liver if the cpk is high.I have been on and getting blood work for 20 yrs.Maybe its just me who knows.
