Used this bad boy tonight for the first time. Not sure I like it, but only because the weight swung a little as I backed off the pegs. It's heavier than normal bar by 20 lbs or so. And like the safety squat bar I used last week it's more quad dominant than a normal straight bar. Next week I'll go back to a straight bar or duffalo bar and see the difference strength wise. I worked up to 2 1/2 plates ES but could only manage 7 and 6 reps for 2 sets.
Finished with some duffalo bar squats and A couple sets of walking lunges with 65!kbs.
Bent bar is the duffalo bar
Other one they call a cambered bar
Some use the duffalo bar for bench press to work the bottom portion more especially helpful for those with a big chest. Also easier on shoulders for squats as the hands are a bit lower
The cambered bar you can put your hands way lower if you like, more of a quad dominant lift
