Looking for a good diet plan ...

Hi , my name is . Trev

im 18 , my height is 6"1 I weigh 227 last time i checked my bmi is 29% on a standard bmi calculator

I have only started going the gym about 6 months ago I haven't really started dieting yet i have lost a total of 40 pounds so far but I want to speed up the process and really start putting work in I am very hard working and I highly motivated I just cant find exactly what I should do , a low-calorie diet , high carb , I cant decide and im just looking for some help

when I do go to the gym all i really do is as much cardio as possible i do about 1 hour on the bike 30 minutes on the treadmill 10 minutes rowing and some leg weights , and have a quick swim ...

Hi Trev,

Losing fat is about an overall calorie deficit, calories in vs calories out.
I would stay away from high carb diets, u can either carb cycle or do a high protein low carb diet or even keto.

Calculate your TDEE (total daily energy enpenditure) you want to go 500 calories below. (check out our diet section it shows you how to do this there)


Everyone is different & reacts different to different ratios, most do good with 40/40/20
U can give it a try & adjust if needed.

If you are already losing weight I would just make small changes to keep it going..start by cutting out sugars, lowering portions, etc.....Alot of people jump into a strict diet and find it hard to follow, when they could of taken a slower approach and stuck with it.
