Low T at 28 years old.. Help

I was just hoping to get some feedback from you guys on interpreting my labs, but first a little background on me. I'm 28 and ran cycles of anabolic steroids off and on from the age of 20-26. After coming off steroids, with proper PCT/hCG, my life was never the same. I literally have had zero sex drive, inability to get an erection, irritability, unable to gain muscle or strength in the gym, constant fatigue and just an overall lack of well being. I visited many different GP's and endocrinologists that basically laughed me out the door when they saw my age and heard my symptoms (which basically just made my hopelessness so much worse). I finally decided to take matters into my own hands and get lab work done at my own expense since the health care system has completely failed me. These results are from a few days ago:

Serum Test: 330ng/dL LOW (348-1197ng/dL)
LH: 7.9 (1.7-8.6 mIU/mL)
FSH: 9.1 (1.5-12.4 mIU/mL)
Estradiol 11.1 (7.6-42.6 pg/mL)
CBC, CMP, Lipids were all WNL

Based on these values it points to primary hypogonadism, which was what I was afraid of due to my history of anabolic steroid use. I'm just tired of living like an 90 year old man trapped in this 28 year old body. Any feedback on these results and any suggestions on what I should do next would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome!

The good news is it's not the end of the world, it seems you've done enough research to know what you need to do.

I would print a copy of the labs then search for a new doc and bring them to initial visit, then explain your symptoms. It can take some work to get a doctor on your side but it's doable. I started TRT at 29 and it wasn't easy because of my age either.

This board has a sponsor called IMT, or Increase My T, and they can get most folks setup within a good time frame. They aren't cheap because you pay for what you get, and you can't run it under insurance right off the bat.

You can also keep searching for a GP that will do it, you should be able to find one with some effort.

Grunt- Yeah I am looking into IMT for the time being as I have heard nothing but excellent things. Money isn't really an issue considering whats the point of having money if you feel horrible all the time. Yeah unfortunately the medical society today has little to no knowledge on treating low testosterone in atypical patients.

You are definitely correct.

I use IMT currently and you will be satisfied as well, you will be setup to self inject weekly with a proper dose and hCG, they also believe in the use of an AI if it's warranted. It can be hard to find a doc that will RX the hCG and AI, also most docs want to do biweekly shots of less then sufficient doses.

Their price isn't outrageous either, I didn't mean it like that - but of course there are cheap folks out there and IMT even understands not everyone can afford private care. Todd is a great help as well, you can find him here as IMT Staff or email him... Guessing you likely have done so already. You can also get an RX for follow up labs so insurance will cover it.

The pharmacies they ship from have top notch products too, the docs are cool and the whole process is really simple.

Just finished submitting all my forms, physical, and labs to IMT. Thanks a lot guys, I'll keep you guys posted on how things go. Needless to say, I'm very excited to finally be able to live my life to its full potential! Its been a rough 2 years for me, honestly no way for anyone to live.

Thanks! I want to say my labs were drawn at about 11am.

That is too late in the day. You should reconfirm the results with another set of labs. Go first thing in the morning after a night of good sleep. Read the link below in my signature for info on how to get blood work.
