Low T, High Estradiol, Hair Loss

I originally posted this in the TRT forum and just moved it here:

26 year old male, 6ft, 190 lbs, 12% body fat

So my blood results are the following:

Testosterone 12.7 nmol/L - I believe this is 365 ng/dl (correct me if I am wrong)
Free Testosterone is 58.7 pmol/L - range on it is 15.6 to 146 - but the units do not seem correct to me.
Estradiol is 126 pmol/L - range is 0-172. I believe mine converts into is 34 ng/dl
Prolactin is 5.7 ug/L (range is 2.6-13.1)

The story:
- I started a cycle of 400mg test E/week, but I did not feel well. Blood pressure shot through the roof so I stopped after 4 weeks. This was last October.
- I used Torem for 3 weeks, balls came back in size. I felt pretty good after that. Thought everything is normal.
- However, since February, I've been feeling tired, run down. I thought it was just my old job which I hated.
- Hair was shedding like crazy till a month ago. I thought it was stress. I seem to have finally stopped losing hair like crazy, but instead my scalp is very dry and flaky. Irritable too.
- 3 weeks ago, I started getting gyno in my right nipple. I went to the doctor to check my hormones. I asked for LH, FSH and DHT, but he did not give me the full panel. I just spoke with him and he said all my hormones look normal and no further bloodwork is needed.
- I have no energy to work out, I am feeling very unmotivated in general

Anyone have any idea what to do? I'm thinking of getting some letro and running 0.2 to 0.5 mg/day for a month and see what impact that has on my overall testosterone and estradiol. I am just afraid to lose hair. I have a full head of hair.

I prefer letro over arimidex because I have not felt anything from arimidex and I've run letro before and it worked.

Letro might be overkill. I've never heard of letrozole monotherapy. If you don't want straight test, you could try hcg/arimidex. Just because you don't "feel" arimidex working doesnt mean you shouldnt use it. Only blood work will tell you what it's doing. People get bunk drugs all the time. How is your diet, sleep patterns, stress levels? These things can nuke test, especially as you get older. You wanna try maxing your levels naturally before you look into drug therapy but it's really a personal choice.

Some people theorize that prolactin and estradiol play an important role in male pattern baldness.
It is very likely that higher than normal estradiol is causing hair loss indeed. I have read several studies that shows this also. My estradiol was in the 60ng/dl range when at the peak of the cycle respite running Arimidex 1mg/day, this is why I do not believe Arimidex worked. My test was at 3,500 ng/dl on the cycle. Again it was only a 4 week cycle. Essentially the test just kicked in, I felt like crap and then I decided to get off it rather than sacrifice my health.

I know I need to reduce the Estrogen with either Arimidex/Aromasin or Letro first. But it also looks like my test is low. This would probably increase with the AI, but is it advisable to boost it up with an SERM like Clomid, Torem or Nolva?

I'm just trying to figure out the best approach and doses to use.

Every protocol has it's benefits and drawbacks. Obviously straight test is more consistent. Unless you have pharm grade arimidex you don't know if your stuff is fake or under dosed. Letrozole can tank e2 very easily.

I'm just trying to fix my body to get back to baseline test production which for me was 700ng/dl before the one month cycle I did. I don't really want to inject test for the rest of my life.

You never did pct?

I was advised to just run Torem for 3 weeks at a low dose. I did that, balls came back and I felt pretty good at the time. Fast forward a couple of months and my body started slowing down, I guess I never really recovered all the way.

Yeah gauge the success of pct after the drugs wear off. While they are in your system, it's expected for you to have higher test. You shold look at some pct/restart protocols.

Seems like bad advice now lol

Maybe that is why people around here keep telling people around here to read

Some people said "you ran a 4 week cycle, you don't need anything"... but my balls were the rise of raisins already at that point. So I decided to run Torem and it brought them up to size.

I need to find the right PCT to:

1. reduce gyno
2. increase test
3. prevent DHT from increasing
