Making Dr.s appointment-hair loss

New member here. Been out of the game for a few years. Great board, btw! Anyhow, I've been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for years, and yes, my hair is thinning out, and falling out to the point my sons even make jokes about it. My mothers side of the family has some male pattern baldness, so I know what I've inherited. The androgenic effects of test on the scalp line is also taking a toll.

I've taken finesteride 1mg before, and it gave me some libido issues. I'm wanting to have my doc write me a prescription strength topical that may block dht at the scalp line. Any thoughts/comments are appreciated!

honestly man.....I don't think there is much that works for hairloss. I have tried it all with zero luck. Shave the head and embrace it. I know thats not what you wanted to hear but its the truth IMO....at least for me.

Bob could be right, but worth a go with some minoxidil 5% to block, s5 cream, nizoral shampoo twice per week. Fini has some major sides by all accounts mate.

Great link! Thanks! When I did my last show a few moons ago, I thought the master on was thinning me out fast, but from the chart in the link, it doesn't look to be as bad as I thought. Of course, maybe the master on, test suspension, and proviron didn't help. Lol

I really don't want anything to do with finesteride due to what it did to my... well, wasn't helpful for the libido. I'm thinking a topical regimen could help. Again, I've not heard of S5 cream, but will search around.

This is my last resort. I'll try several topicals in a regimen, but if that doesn't work, I'll probably look like a larger version of that guy from breaking bad when I buy a finger razor.
