how common is male pattern baldness when using gear and which steriods are more likely to cause that side effect when compared to others?

Whether or not AS will exasperate male pattern baldness is basically dependent on whether you are genetically predisposed to the condition in the first place. As for which compounds are the harshest on the hair, those that involve DHT will often have strong side effects (masteron, etc.) but each individual reacts to compounds differently. You'll just have to experiment.

If it is in your Genes you are going to get it with or without steriod use. The use of some steroids will just speed it up.

Depends on the genes, plain and simple. Use caution on gear if you think you'll be balding.
