Managing my AI dosage - Help Needed Please!

Last week my doctor increased my Test C injection from 120mg to 16omg a week, he also increded my Aromatase inhibitor (AI) dosage from .5mg a week to 1mg a week. What is the ideal protocal for taking my Aromatase inhibitor (AI) to ensure that I do not suffer any of the sides from the Test C injection.

After receiving my very first Test C injection I felt the sensativity and ichyness in the nipples and felt some water retention so my doctor put me on the Aromatase inhibitor (AI). I received my injection on Tuesday this week and took the entire dose of 1mg of the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) but this morning after wakeing up I feel like a damn balloon. I can tell I have a lot of water retention in my legs, I can push my thumb into my shin and there is a deep demple that takes a minute or so to disappear and I just feel like crap over all.

I had my Estradiol checked prier to the increase in Test C and my Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and it was 37.3 on a scale of 7.6-42.6.

Any advice would be welcomed!

37.3 doesn't really seem high enough to account for the water retention you are describing. With a half-life of 48hrs (I believe), I would split up the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) (I'm assuming anastrozole) into two .5mg doses 3 days apart. I would take half the day after, the other half 4 days after your weekly injection. Sounds like you are being injected at the doctors office. If you can self-inject you might consider splitting your T dose into twice weekly injections and taking .5mg the day after each injection. That's pretty much the protocol that I'm on, but I think my estradiol might be a bit too low and might have to reduce Aromatase inhibitor (AI) to 2 or 3 weekly doses of .25mg.

You are correct I get my injection at the doctors office, I know I need to self inject and split my Test C dose into two seperate injections but the doctor will not allow that option. I am new to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) so I am not looking to jump ship and find a new doctor yet, I prefer to wait it out a bit first since my insurance pays for everything. I will try the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) split three days apart and see how that works.

Thanks

I take .5 mg of anastrozole the day after my injection. So far that has been good for me. I have discussed it with my doc and I don't need to take more but if I did he said to do it twice weekly not all at once. I would give that a shot.
