Max-OT and training abs, forearms, calves

I know a lot of you swear by this method. It seems like a complete training philosophy. But I have some questions about points that conflict with some reliable things I've heard in the past.

In Max-OT, Paul says that muscle groups like forearms abs and calves can benefit from overload training too. Meaning warmup, weight acclimation (I guess? For 30 pounds?) and the 3-6 heavy sets. He recommends only 3 for forearms and 4 for abs. My question is this: has ANYONE seen ANY results with training forearms or abs like this?

Thanks

Forearms grow with all the other movement you do so they dont need as much work. Abs are like any other muscle and will respond to weight training. I do abs 2 a week and keep the sets do about 4/time. Calves are my problem area but theyre getting there. I´ve gotten better results training them abit easier and some more reps.

Good luck

My forearms don't grow that much by themselves so I need to hit them separately or my bis look out or proportion.
