Summary:
The first clinical trial on three males reported mild nausea and a ***8220;stretching and yawning complex***8221; that correlated with spontaneous penile erection.
A medical paper published in 2012 reported that a male who had injected Melanotan II experienced systemic toxicity and rhabdomyolysis (kidney damage) in addition to body aches, sweating and anxiety.
A British newspaper reported that a model was hospitalized with blood and skin infections, including painful blisters all over her body, after injecting Melanotan. She also experienced other side effects including nausea and dizziness and itchy, sore and burning skin.
A user calling herself ***8220;Jollywell***8221; reported this experience with Melanotan-II in this post: ***8220;I used this stuff for 6 months and I would get so sick from it. It made my cheeks sag which made my dark circles worse and left deeper depression in my cheek. It also brought more sun damage to my skin. I looked like I had aged 30 years. It was awful! I had got like 100 flat moles in addition to the many I had already had and they never went away like what I had read. At first, I got so tan that I was pretty much black. (I freaked my mom out when I bumped into her at the grocery store. She thought I was wearing stage make-up all over my body trying to be black. Looked very un-natural at that point) Soon after that, I started to look like I had jaundice. My hair started growing thicker and blacker and I became so oily!! It was crazy. I literally would have to reapply makeup every 5 to 15 minutes because that***8217;s how long it took for the make-up to come off from my extremely oily face. I did back off the doses but it didn***8217;t help with the side effects. As I backed off the tan looked more natural like it did in the beginning. I had a very bad experience with this stuff!! If there was some way to prevent the illness from injections, sun damage and moles from appearing or getting worse, I would be all over this stuff. Until then, I am staying far away from this stuff.
Melanotan II injection resulting in sys... [Clin Toxicol (Phila). 2012] - PubMed - NCBI
Summary:
A 39 year-old Caucasian male injected subcutaneously 6 mg of Melanotan II purchased over the Internet in an attempt to darken his skin during wintertime. This dose was six times the recommended starting dose per the patient. In the emergency department two hours post injection, he complained of diffuse body aches, sweating, and a sensation of anxiety. Vital signs included BP 151/85 mmHg, HR 130 bpm that peaked at 146 bpm, and temperature of 97.8°F. Physical exam demonstrated a restless and anxious appearing male with mydriasis, diaphoresis, tachycardia, and diffuse muscle tremors. Pertinent laboratory values were creatinine 2.25 mg/dL, CPK 1760 IU/L, troponin 0.23 ng/mL, WBC 19.1 k/***956;L. Urinalysis demonstrated 3 + blood with red cell casts but 0-2 RBC/hpf. Qualitative urine drug screen was negative for metabolites of cocaine and amphetamines but positive for opiates. The patient received benzodiazepines for agitation and anxiety and had improvement in his symptoms. He was admitted to the ICU and during hospitalization his CPK elevated to 17773 IU/L 12 hours later. He continued to receive intravenous fluids with sodium bicarbonate for rhabdomyolysis and his CPK decreased to 2622 IU/L with improvement of creatinine to 1.23 mg/dL upon discharge from the ICU after 3 days. The substance, which he injected, was analyzed via mass spectrometry and was confirmed to be Melanotan II when compared with an industry purchased standard sample.
So with the MILLIONS that use mt2 you found 3 case studies. That means 3 people had this happen. I could find more case studies on people that died from taking tylenol or a cold medicine, This thread is full of much BS. mt2 works very well. It also increases sex drive as an aside (pt141 is a mt derivative). It may give you a freckle here n there (and no not on your fvcking eye) but after cessation of use...they go away. I personally love it
anyone got any experiance with this got a freind whos onnit and his tan is sick ..heard theres bad side effecta tho anyonw tried this
what was your dosing? 0.5mg and less per dose shouldn't do this. nausea is minimal at this dose and results are amazing.Took it a few yrs back. Tan was crazy dark. Sides were tough with the nausea though. Tried to take it again and couldn't deal with the nausea the second time.
Love the stuff myself. GREAT way to build upa bit of tan for extra protection. You're all pretty wrong here. MT2 is the bomb. I get a really deep golden tan and compliments from everyone with only five hours of sun exposure! They give this stuff to kids whose parents have bad a bout of skin cancer to offer them greater protection with minimal sun exposure. It's safe and effective. No sides for me. I use it every year at the start of the summer. I live at the beach.
The dose makes the poison. I am starting MTII in a few days; I will not be taking 6mg doses.

I can't remember. I still have some left frozen in powder form in freezer. Been there for 4 yrs. I guess it's still good.what was your dosing? 0.5mg and less per dose shouldn't do this. nausea is minimal at this dose and results are amazing.

EXACTLY! i would never pass 1mg dose and i really only rec 0.5mg as a max per dose. do that eod for a couple weeks and then 2-3X a week and it works GREAT.
crap----^
I have used it many times and know many guys AND girls tht use it. NO issue.
if you take a 5mg dose then its no wonder you would feel ill. and the dumbass in the last study was just that... a dumbass... the type of guy that would drink a bunch of water and die ( yes if you can die from drinking water) . you should have 100's of good reports with the 3 above if you are going to be fair.... Im almost tempted to edit the post because you are just going to make noobs with NO exp witht his compound worry needlessly.....
