You're gay or a drug addict - just them that.
I can legally say I have asthma, even though it's a bullshit excuse.
lol...
They "brand" their soldiers in Greece. The Greeks use a "classification" on their soldiers after doing a medical evaluation on them.
i.e.
I1, I2, I3, I4, I5
I5 they send you home right away as it shows you have extreme medical issues. I don't see how many people would like to openly declare themselves a drug addict...even still they allow those type people to still enlist after montitoring them.
The other reason you listed is not a valid excuse to be let go from military.
There is!
But, if you have a Greek National I.D. Card or Greek Passport you are considered a regular Greek Citizen. I have a National I.D. card which I got at the Police station 5 years ago. You can't do anything without one in Greece, so I needed to get one back then. Thing is they keep track of that stuff and they will audit you e.t.c.
If you were a foreigner living abroad with a foreign passport and of Greek origin e.t.c. and stay in Greece for an extended period of time(over 6 months) you risk getting drafted or a letter telling you to show up for questioning on your status.
Wow. Learn something new every day. I have to be honest, I wonder what mandatory military service would do for the US. I know a lot of these lazy entitlement crazed little bastards could use a nice kick to the pants.I've seen it suggested before in legislature but it got shot down, some of the benefits of mandatory service are pretty hard to argue against.
Mind blowing that you can be drafted even if you're just living there temporarily. Those Greeks don't fuck around!
Bros, Looks like they finally found me...lol
I was talking to my granddad and he told me that the Military sent me a letter 2 days ago(Europe)
I am a dual citizen by birth. I was going back and forth for 5 years and without incident. lol
What do I do now? lol
I need to use my CPAP machine nightly and I'm 33 not 18 like the regular troops.
People told me if they see my size they will put me into special forces, commando unit.
Jumping out of airplanes(parachute) at 6000 metres, sleeping outside in the forests, e.t.c. doesn't really appeal to me.
I don't need this b.s. and those days of high T are behind me.
At my current 265 ng/dl TT levels.... I'm not thrilled with this news.
What can I take while there to keep some Natty T elevated...
I will have access to pharmacies and they are o.k. sometimes with ancillaries like Nolva, clomid, proviron.

Not sure about Greece, but in America if you get super fat while in the service they discharge you lol.
Just turn into a fat fuck.
It's surprising their bothering with you when Greece has 50% youth unemployment.
Anyone here got the guts to do this?

Skydive? I don't think anyone should get through life without skydiving at least once. Those few minutes are the absolute most worry free moments of your life.
That's a good question since I was denied enlistment at 18 because I was 6'7" and 280lbs (8% bf) as I was outside their height/weight chart. Only branch that would take me back then was the Marines, and the recruiter talked me out of it as I would be a "big target" with a life expectancy of ~45 seconds in combat. Now in my late 30's I regret not joining, but that's a different thread altogether.Exactly how much gravitational pull must one have before they are Chapter 18.

I'm sure extra T in the system numbs out fears for many. I hate heights.

You would be in a commando unit in Greece. You are 6'7"?
wow
