Morons at the gym (part of training)

I dont want to post this in the convo, plus it is kind of about training in a way maybe. haha, or maybe not. I am pissed off at the stupidity in the gym!!

I had tendonitis in my shoulder 4 years ago. It was not a complete tear, and was only an inflamation thing. It took 5 months and it was healed and gone. My physiotherapy guy tony told me all about the levels of tendonitis, and when you need surgery. He said most cases are like mine, just stress and inflamation. Only rips and complete tears accompanied by scar tissue build up need to be stitched up, cut open and operated on. If you fall on it or hit it hard in an accident or something, in some cases you can be screwed. 6 months ago it happened to my OTHER shoulder. The exact same thing happened. Minor inflamation stress, and now I am healed and back to the weights, the heavy weights. The physio therapy guy said once it heals, and you give it enough rest like I did, there is NO risk of it ever comming back. I asked 2 physiotherapists this as I was wondering about it. :) The only way to get tendonitis again is if you do the same mistake which was maxing out too often in my case. My rotator cuffs were also never injured (thank god) doing the stupid things that I have done, so I am lucky for that as well! :) Now here is the part that pisses me off and I need to get it off my chest!!!!!

I was at the gym warming up and stretching like I never really used to do, and even did a bit of rotator cuff exercises even though I dont need to, but felt like doing it. Some overly happy moron walks by and says "rotator cuff exercise huh". I say yeah, I want to keep my shoulders strong just to be safe, and mentioned I just got over tendonitis in my shoulder. This moron says, "oh, theres no cure for that". I said yeah, just time and rest heals it unless it is a complete tear". He says " yeah the knife and sergury ha ha". Why are these people so stupid and pretend they know about things they know nothing about? Yeah, complete rips need surgery, anything less like stress, inflamation, or even a small tear need nothing but time and rest to heal.

I have learned another lesson. When talking to people at the gym, be sure not to say too much. Thanks guys. I really needed to get this off my chest.

If someone starts to annoy me at the gym I pretend to be gay and hit on them. They'll never talk to you again. Try it.

Haha. No. I have just learned to shut up at the gym and only say what I need to, like asking for a spot etc. You tell a bit of your personal business and boom, these assholes find a way to piss you off and flap their stupid lips.

I'd quote from mike the mule miller's critical bench quote from RS:

Lift for yourself, dont be afraid to try something radical, think outside the box. If it doesn't work don't keep doing it. Seek advice from someone who has accomplished something and > Ignore the ramblings of the ignorant, and step on or over their crumpled bodies as you make your way to the top of the mountain. Eat upon their flesh for fuel and through your determination and will banish them to obscurity and a life of complacency and self righteousness that is the hell in which they live" -richard. safreed

this is what i keep in mind when things get annoying in gym..especially when doing floor presses and getting comments...ah life

How??? I tried this technique in India, but I always end up sounding retarted. I just don't know how to act gay without accidently doing something gay and then feeling totally cockalicious, God I hate that feeling

Might work in the Phillipines but we frown upon cannibalism here in the States.
