Muscle growth while dieting if starting TRT?

I know it is not possible to gain muscle while losing fat, however, is it possible if you are just starting TRT?

My case is basically my current T is under 100ng/dl, and im over 300lbs. I have little muscle right now, but I need to lose fat, so I was wondering since I'd finally be having a normal testosterone level soon, is it possible in my case?

Furthermore, since someone finally getting testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is more susceptible to building muscle, and normal people get 1g of protein per day in their diet, how much more should i consume?

Yes you can build muscle and loose fat at the same time.

For diet questions your best off asking them in the diet forum.

I feel for you 100 TT just plain sucks. I bet you can't wait to be a man again.

If you don't already have a good diet lined up, you should talk to 3j. His meal plans are very affordable. It will end up being free for me, considering all the fast food I normally eat and won't be buying anymore.

I've already been following a diet for a few weeks. I'm just curious if I can expect to gain muscle starting testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) since muscle gain requires an anabolic state but dieting puts you in a catabolic one, and if so, if I should increase protein intake and to what amount.

damn geralt, you need some Testosterone STAT.

You obviously do a lot of reading, and probably know way more about diets than I do. So I'll stick to what I know as factual. You can absolutely gain massive amounts of muscle, and loose fat, at the same time while on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).

Back to your diet, I think that you want some diet like Keto. The ketogenic diet is a high-fat, adequate-protein, low-carbohydrate diet. But as I said before, diets I don't know.

Yea i do... i feel like death ATM... i dont even want to wake up till my next doctors appointment honestly, which isn't till wednesday, when i should be getting treatment. i wish i knew i had low T long ago, but i just found out my problems could be caused by it and well, turns out this was the cause all along. worst part is, i had to find out from a friend with low t to even check into this... or else i wouldve wound up with low t for even longer.

im doing PSMF, which is basically a keto diet and im getting approx 1g of protein per LBM, so I guess once I start testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) ill increase it to 1.5g per LBM or something.

If your really serious about your diet and what will work, I can highly recommend 3J. When it comes to diet he is the man. He'll end up saving you money, and your gains(lower BF increased muscle) will be way faster with him.

Keep us in the loop. We love to hear success stories.

So what your looking to do is a full body recomposition. Ideally u should be looking to stay the same weight but stop bosyfat. This takes some tricky dieting but its very possible especially because your on trt

I agree. If you want big changes 3j will make it happen.
