Shouldn't it make sense that if you take any steroids that after you discontinue them FOREVER that you would be able to get back up to your size. I know in the ISSA handbook it states that there is a type c muscle fiber which can be obtained unnaturally. I want to gain some good size and be able to keep it so I don't HAVE to feel like I need to do more cycles in order to stay that way. I know it sounds like a pipe dream to do one cycle only but I am going to try to do this but there is no reason to even do one cycle if I will lose all gains eventually. Let me know if there are any good reads about this issue also.
 
Growth hormone stimulates new cell growth, something that doesn't really happen naturally - which is why its stated that a normal person is born with the same number of muscle cells they will have until they die. Since GH is normal in the human body, I'm not sure how this plays together, test also stimulates GH release in some degree.

Since most gear raises your own hormonal levels as well as helps with protein synthesis, I do not buy that going off roids that you can maintain the same amount of size while on, do you think Ronnie could quit now and stay the same? I for one dont. To a certain point though I do believe that gear will permanently affect your ultimate potential versus natural, meaning you will have some kind of long lasting gains kept and that being more than would have been possible without ever having touched the stuff (new muscle cells etc).
 
That sounds most probable as I agree someone like Ronnie would have to use alot always to keep the size he has.

If I understand you are wanting to do one cycle and quit? That was my intentions also, but 3 weeks into my first I was already planning the next. I have a hard time taking time off because GEAR IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Dont plan on losing size, keep eating and training so that you lose as little as possible when you come off. If you think your going to lose it all and then somehow get it back naturally, I think your going to find that difficult and will spend a very, very long time chasing those old gains.
