muscle soreness

I am just curious about my muscles not being sore. Ive been lifting for about 6 years and it dawned on me, I dont get that sore the day after work outs, but i still feel drained directly after the workout.

Does every one still get sore after workouts? I still change my routines every 1-2 months and still go up weight. You know the feeling of not lifting for while and you go back to the gym and the next day and you cant move? Why dont I feel like that after every work out? Yes my work outs are intense and demanding. Is because my muscles are adapting?

This may sound confusing, but all im asking is why my muscles arent sore after workoouts and if it is normal and if im still strainging them enough?

muscle soreness the next day is irrelavent....if you do a proper workout and go up in weight, ur doing things right...

And you should not change workouts every 1-2 months...As they say,

"if it aint broke, dont go about fixin it"

what i mean is that if i feel like im hitting a plateau i change some of the lifts to help shock my muscles a little into something new. Because muscles do adapt to stress loads. But thanks for pointing that out about it being irrelavent.

man, you dont adapt to the load if u keep pushing yourself! remember that the 1.5lb plates are your best friend!

and if muscles do adapt to stress loads, how come ppl do the same routine for over a year and still see results at the end?

what if your routine is changing your routine every week? thats what i am doing now and its works. :D  ;)

you dont have to be sore after every training or the next day or two. I'm training only twice a week and i dont get big soreness , maybe a little sometimes, sometimes i dont but i train like hell. I guess if you stop training for 3 weeks and then hit the weights then you will definately be sore the next or on second day. I was stupid enough training every fucken day for 5 years , fucken dummy. No wonder my elbows were always fucked up and so is my hip.
