Well as some of you may know I have had this dealt injury for almost 3 months now... I can no longer not train. So my question is should get right back into it where I left off ( if I didn't loose much strength ) or do I ease back leghter weight higher reps to get the strength back. I figure whats the difference ? any input would help except for... rest it.. because I am not going to.
Thnx.

lighter weight and more resps with STRICT form for a few weeks then slowly up the weight and drop the reps . listen to your body and know when enough is enough .

what he said.
if you only hurt one side, you might want to stick to machines where you can still go heavy on your healthy side and lighter on your injured side. eventually the injured side will catsup.
(thats hamburgerspeak for "catch up")

Thank You my friends Lighter and higher.. I guess I will take advantage of the fact and maybe do a cutting phase.

If you dont rest it, you will have no choice soon. You will learn.

i train around injuries. part of the game. when i tore my delts up I squatted and pulled deads for 12 weeks while it healed then it took another 12 weeks or so of light training that area before i could hit it hard again.

Good advice PB.. I started yesterday and I did legs I was to affraid to do any movments involving the dealt. However I think I will give it a shot tonight and see what happens. I will keep you all posted. So you have had a dealt tear. I am at the 12 week mark with this injury as well. I am going to take your advice. What I cant do is just let it sit while my upper body goes to shit.
