Also it isn't necessary to taper your dosage of Nolva during post cycle therapy (pct). A proper and simply post cycle therapy (pct) would be as follows:
Nolva 20mg ED for 4 weeks
Clomid 50mg ED for 4 weeks.
The pharmacokenetics of both drugs do not show any linear benefit with an increased dosage and a greater effect. However this is the research done on the pharmaceutical brands (should be the same as UGL products); also these studies are all done in women for which the drugs were specifically designed. I do not feel that men taking these would mean you would need to increase the dose.

So on review Dr Hiney, you think the cycle should look like this...

Week 1-10 Testosterone-enanthate: 600mg per week @ 300mg twice weekly
Week 3-12 Aromasin: 10mg EOD (finish using 2 days before post cycle therapy (pct) starts)
Week 12-16 Nolvadex 40mg ED & Clomid 50mg ED

You can drop Nolvadex down to 20mg ED. But yes, this looks like a good beginning cycle. If you have enough gear, I would recommend adding an extra 2 weeks on your test (pushing everything back 2 weeks). Like we said, it will take anywhere from 3-4 weeks for your T levels to even out at this dose so that would only leave you with a solid 6 weeks (6-8 really) of lifting time while on. It's all dependent on the supplies you have on hand.

If you really want to get the most out of this cycle however, it will completely depend on your diet. We talk about using PCT to help keep the gains made while on cycle (and it will help to an extent) but if you do not continue to eat enough then no matter how much test you run, you will lose most of your gains.

OP, are you familiar with aseptic and proper injection techniques? This will help to ensure the sterility of your gear as well as preventing infection. It can also help prevent any oil from leaking out of the injection site once you remove the syringe.

Keep us posted.

Cheers and thanks again for the advice.

The diet shouldn't be a problem. I will up my macro nutrient intake as per weekly scales readings.
I have had my blood work done at my local pump clinic in anticipation of the cycle. I have been provided with all my alcohol wipes, barrels, pins for drawing the compound, pins for injecting the compound and safety disposal boxes for the used hyperdermics.

I was advised to slightly pull the skin on the glute and go for the top, outter quarter. We also discussed other injection sites such as quads but I was advised to stick with glutes for first time. However I think I will dismiss that advice to avoid any kind of oil build up.

Do you have anything to add?

Thanks again.

Matt

lol.......... im sorry but when i was 141 pounds at 5'8 all i had to do was eat good, work out hard and rest........ i got to 170ish naturally before even considering, this is sad, you dont need juice you need food....

The diet is good, could be cleaner at times, but I'm not too concerned right now as long as I get my calorific intake. My macros-nutrients are relatively consistent.
I'm 5 weeks into my 12 week transformation program, but I have not yet started the cycle. So far I have added 4lbs of LBM in the 5 weeks unassisted without AAS.
I could better 141lbs naturally and without question I could achieve my AAS goals naturally, given enough time, but considering 147lbs is the heaviest I've ever been, I'm starting here.

dude no no no, juice aint for you, if your adding 4 pounds of lbm every 5 weeks, why do u need juice? theres no reason on why u shouldn't continue this, think of it this way, you add like 1pound of lbm every week for a year straight.... thats 53 pounds of lbm gained in a year, youlll wash out with gear and just shrink back down to size...

Sounds pretty solid. Here are some picks of proper injection technique. Just remember to never touch the needle.

As far as injection site go, it is up to you. I find it easier to inject in the quads myself, but when you start running compounds that need ED or EOD pins, you have to rotate through the glutes and delts too.
I must say I am surprised. One of the few first time users I have seen in a while that has done just about everything (including bloodwork) correct before beginning the cycle.

Thanks for your concerns but there is no way that I will continue to add 4 lbs of LBM every month. I always see very good LBM gains at the start of my transformations then they will slow and eventually plateau.

Thanks Doc, I've read an awful lot over the last 4 years or so. Steroids isn't the kind of thing you rush into, contrary to what 90% of first timers think. Thanks for the pics. They have helped.

Just wanted to say, as a newbie myself, this thread is extremely helpful. The advice from DrHiney has been great and I hope you both stick around!

Good to hear Jsons. There has been some really useful info offered. As soon as the gear turns up I can get going with my first pin and provide you with all the relevant updates. My order should have turned up Friday, but nothing, so hopefully tomorrow will bring something.

I'd like this thread to be a good reference point for first timers who are considering using AAS. I've tried to do things as vigilantly as possible, including blood work tests before the cycle. I'll continue to read, listen and learn using this forum and other sites and hopefully by sharing knowledge we should all be able to yeild some impressive results.

Good luck with your own transformation. Stick around.

Matt

Update

Just had a call from my local pump clinic confirming my blood work results for the trip I made to see them 2 weeks ago. I dont have the precise figures just yet but from what I remember of the telephone call conversation... My Liver function is fine, my cholesterol is 3.9, my Testosterone was 20 something Nmol/L.

What matters is he's given me the thumbs up to go ahead with the cycle. Keeps stressing to keep it around 8 weeks though?

I would run the aromasin everyday considering its short half life

Yeah it does have a short half life. I had considered that. I think I'll stick with EOD and up it to ED if I get itchy. Don't want to over use it if I don't need to as it does slightly inhibit the AAS full potential.
