conklcl, I feel bad for you. That T number just plain sucks. Maybe the T isn't effective. I can only suggest glutes 1.5" needle all the way in. I read that glutes have the highest absorbtion, delts come in second. Go for it, maybe go up a little if your Dr approves. What does he say?

Seems like a really low number for 200mg/week. Is this Test cyp?

No I miss typed I am on 100mg a week and yes it is Test cyp. I do have an app next week so I'm sure he will adjust it I was higher when I was on the gel I was at least at 350 with my blood work

Your liver enzymes are significantly elevated. While they are not clinical they are getting pretty darn high. I'd be concerned about that. What orals are you using? Tylenol? Eating a lot of shellfish? Drinking?

You want to identify the cause there because over time significant elevation can be a serious symptom of bigger problems.

The only orals I take are Opti-men vitamin, vitamin D 1000IU and a OMEGA-3 SUPER KRILL OIL. My diet is pretty good I am 45, 6foot 5 and weigh 230 my body fat is 12%. I don't drink but maybe a couple times a year very little.

None of those things would trigger such a strong hepatic response.

Then there is something going on beyond the obvious that is causing your liver additional stress. Do address that with your physician. It is important to get to the root cause.

I would be more concerned about knowing why your body isnt utilizing the exogenous test if I were you

I had a buddy who had elevated liver enzymes and the family was all worried about because he was a healthy non drinker. Turns out it was caused by the multivitamins he was taking from GNC ! Not saying that GNC multivitamins are bad but some people react to different things. google search elevated liver enzymes and you'll find a list if things that can cause it, one being vitamins.

Thanks you guys for the suggestions and comments. I have lots of questions for my doctor next week, I was better off before I started any testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). I know it takes sometime to get dialed so we will see.

I looked at my last blood work on Oct 15 before I started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and my
SGOT/AST WAS 21 (20-57)
SGPT/ALT WAS 35 (21-72)
The only thing different from now and then is the test c I am taking and the vitamins I am very hit and miss with vitamins . Also the night before the blood work I did have two drinks and that was the first alcohol I had in about 5 months would that make that big of differences??

This thread is so fucked. How is noone commenting on the fact he is on 200mg/wk and his test is so low? How is the problem here about his liver and not the fact he is absorbing any of his injectable testosterone? Your drinking does not effect test levels if you are on exo test..my mind is full of fuck

no he corrected his original post to say that hes on only 100mg/week.

he most likely needs to up his test dose.

I am only on 100mg a week and I'm sure my endo will up it when I see him next week. He is the typical doctor starting out slow. I was sure it was low I have not felt good except the day I take the shot and that only last for about 5 hours. So I will see Monday.

If 100mg only puts you are around 150, I would think 200 or even 300 isnt going to make a significant difference...

His liver function elevation at that level may represent a significant indication of systemic risk to his health.

That has far more gravity than his less than stellar T levels at 100 mg/week.

AST of 86 isn't that high for short term but He needs to figure out what's causing it because long term it would add significant risk for liver issues IMO.

Okay I called the Doctor and I have all new blood work tomorrow morning. I have had no alcohol sense last Tuesday so I will see what is going on

I got my test back and now my
SGOT/AST is 24 (20-57)
SGPT/ALT is 50 (21-72)

Last week it was
sgot/ast 86 (20-57)
sgpt/alt 123 (21-72)
Looks like I need to stay away from alcohol the test above was after two drinks the night before the blood work.
