My Dr. agrees with Chip.

Ok, call me a big stupid money-waster, but I didn't trust Chip's advice alone with such an important decision. I got a second opinion from an MD who specializes in family practice and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).

I said to the Dr regarding Chip, "I talked to this guy for a while about testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and this is what he suggested for treatment...", and then explained the meds and doses that I've already purchased.

My Dr. responded with "That's very aggressive, but for a man your age and with your lifestyle that sounds like a plan I could eventually get to."

I flat out asked the Dr. if he was on-board with a program like that and he flatly said "Yes."

The only thing he though I didn't really need was the Arimidex, but he said that it was ok to be overly cautious and take it with my treatment.

Nice work, Chip.

Second opinions are great for the people giving the first opinion (when they are right), and I feel TONS more comfortable making such a huge medical decision that really effects my whole family (which is why I brought my wife to the Dr. with me). I recommend that anyone who doubts Chip's expertise simply do what I did. It was money well spent simply for the peace of mind knowing that I'm making the right decision working with Chip.

MYLES, BESIDE THE FACT THAT IT IS GREAT THAT YOUR DOC IS ON BOARD, ITS EVEN BETTER THAT YOUR WIFE IS ON BOARD. ITS ALWAYS GREAT TO HEAR THAT MY CLIENTS ARE INVOLVING THEIR WIVES AND NOT HIDING THINGS FROM THEM. NOW IF YOU'D JUST GET YOUR "TEAM MAXIMUS" AVATAR UP THERE, THE CIRCLE WOULD BE COMPLETE! LOL :bigok:

I will feel like a poser if I put your avatar up before I start treatment, but as soon as I get started I'll post it.

Yes Smart Doc.
Teutonic, you look like a bad ass in your avatar.

TEUTONIC IS A BADASS. AND HE PULLS BAD ASS! I TALK WITH TEUTONIC AT LEAST 2-3 TIMES A WEEK AND THERE ISN'T A GUY OUT THERE THAT WOULD GIVE YOU THE SHIRT OFF HIS BACK QUICKER THAN "T". I LOVE HIM LIKE A BROTHER. :biggthump

lol if you have high estrogen you might as well not even do TRT..without the Aromatase inhibitor (AI) that is.

I agree.. IMO, there is very few people who don't need an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) w/ TRT.. High E2 will kill any benefits from TRT
