hi

im searching good filtration system, i want filtrate about 1000 - 2000 ml of oil juice
i found on researchsup... this product:

Nalgene© MF75™ Sterile Bottle-Top Filters

and maybe somebody can help me:

- can i flitrate with this filter oil juice like nandrolone decanoate etc ?

- in shop have 3 kinds of this filters, 150ml, 500 ml, 1000 ml, so with 1000 ml filter i can filtrate 1000 ml of oil, or it is to big volume ?

- how many time will take filtration of 1000 ml oil with this filter ?

- i need only this filter and bootle or also i need kind of pump ?

im new so help me please

:)

thanx Bro

can You tell me how i must use it with pump ?
and what kind of pump ?

i think that I must only put nalgene filter on top of bootle and after i will pour oil filtration will start

i found nalgene in researchsupply shop
they are ok ?

maybe somebody have another source of nalgene filters ?

You can get away with not having a special pump. I'd use a standard vacuum source. duct tape the hand held end and pierce it with the portion of the filter that requires the suction...
I've had customers use their fishing tank vacuums but that doesn't sound like a very powerful vacuum source. I think my idea will make the process go faster.

Good filters.

1) Yes
2) Yes 1000mls is fine
3) Probably 20 minutes
4) You need a pump yes

I have always found 500 is the max amount to filter as they clog quite a lot,
To filter 500ml your looking at a couple hours using a brake bleed kit.

yes they do-and the seal will break on the side and you can waste a ton of gear.

however much im filtering i always use a filter that will do double.

so if i were to filter 500ml i would use a 1000ml filter

Your best of getting glass reciever flasks as the plastic ones do crack if the pressure is to high and having half a litre of test leaking is not a pretty sight!!

a couple of hours? does that have to do with using the brake bleed kit vs a legit pump made for filtering? cause ive filtered 200ml in 5 min.

What pressure do you use? I'm running around -8 inHg with a 250mg Nylon Nalgene and around 100ml has now been filtered and it has taken 3 hours.

In other words, it's slow...

EDIT: Finished. 250ml took over 8 hours.
