Natural Insulin Spike?

Currently not running anything, but would really like to maximize natural insulin spike post work out. What is the best way to do this. I normally take in 2 gatorades (68g carbs) and hope that is enough dextrose. Then I eat a carb high meal with protein and a shake about 30 minutes later. I also was interested in getting back on creatine and I have read something like you can't mix creatine with gatorade because it turns into creatinine or some shit. Idk, any advice would be great.

Hi GI carbs immediately post workout with protein and creatine, then about an hour later have your whole food meal, with a low GI carb and whole protein suck as chicken breast or fish. Keep the fats at bay during this meal.

Yeah, fats will mess things up as they don't flow through the bloodstream like pro/carbs.

Apple juice creates a solid spike too.

so gatorade is pretty high, 75. So I could take that with 50g of protein. What is a low GI carb? My carbs come from mainly white rice and their GI is even higher.

Low on the GI means the last longer youre body digests them slowly over a linger period of time allowing for more stable energy levels without a crash. Im talking about, yams, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, quinoa, basically carbs that dont have all their carbs coming from sugar
