need advice: new to anavar

So here are a few questions:

current stats: 5'8", 130 LBS, +/- 20% BF (using handhelds)....had 50 LB weight loss w/in the last 18 months.

What are the best workouts to do on anavar? My "problem areas" are my lower abdomen and thighs. [I have never done a cycle before, and normally i'm at the gym 5-6 days a week. Do cardio 60 mins every day (jogging, elliptical, stair climbing, rowing, treadclimber, ladder, etc...depends on the day). i also do weight lifting (free and machines) and do one body part a day (i.e. leg day, biceps day, triceps day, back, etc.) And I do daily ab exercises, mixing it up daily]

Also: Is it still okay to take OCPs while on cycle? I am currently on OvCon and have been for quite some time. [Yes, I know this is not recommended, but is it at least feasible??]

How many calories would be good while on var w/ the recommended workouts and my body weight?? I want to "cut"

Any other advice/recommendations are GREATLY appreciated. THANKS!!

Congrats on your 50 lbs weight loss !! :)
There's no specific workout that you should be doing while taking var.

It really depends on what your fitness level & goals are.
For the abs, the main thing that will help you here is your diet, no matter how much ab excercises you do, if your diet is off, you won't shed the fat in that area.

Some good excercises for shaping your lower abs are:

hanging leg raises
Leg lifts
Reverse Crunches

Remeber Cardio is key here, you can try incorporating HIIT cardio some days of the week, I find that HIIT cardio works really well when looking to burn as many cals as possible.

For the tights you could do:

Squats
Walking lounges/ side lounges
inner/ outter cable pulls

anavar will make women retain water. it is to build strength not lose fat. with a proper diet you can lose fat on it, but its not the main function, its not going to just burn off the fat for you.
 
well yeah i want to build muscle mass/strength, but i know my body fat is not where it should be. will it at least help w/ both?

I have run anavar several times. You dont need anabolics to burn fat; diet and cardio will do that.

Anavar works well for putting on muscle. I would start with 5mg a day and see how you feel after a few weeks. But be prepared to PUT ON weight int he form of water and muscle.

What kind of post cycle therapy (pct) do you have planned?

How much protein are you taking in now?

right now, i use livestrong.com to track my cals and macros. i aim for about 100 g protein per day and i usually run somewhere in between 85-100g, sometimes more. i did a keto diet a few times where i was taking in more...

right now i also only take in around 1500 cals per day total. how much (w/ my body weight) should i take in, in order to lean out some??

as far as post cycle therapy (pct) goes, i did not have anything planned. I NEED HELP W/ THAT :)
 
Hi, lots of people stick to the formula of 1g per pound of bodyweight. It's a good start point. I do less than that now (prior to pregnancy) at around 0.8g per pound and didn't notice any difference in my strength or endurance. So you could maybe start at 1g and see how you go, you seem to already be at around 0.8. You could gauge your recovery, strength and endurance with the bumped up amount. But you need to make sure you have balance with your carbs and fats, too.

My regular PCT is one tab of of the Forged PCT and 1000mg of Evening Primrose Oil for 6-8 weeks after any anabolics.
