Okay wifey is starting to act really strange.
We now have our second child 4 months soon.
Well My wife is starting to fly off the handle very frequently, very abuse and yelling over little things. No sex drive and sometimes violent.

I have a feeling this may be some sort of hormonal imbalance do to the birthing.
Similar behavior after our first child but not until about a year after.

someone point me in the right direction for research, I am going to tell her to see a doctor. I would like to know what could be the possible causes first.

Hey DJ..
sounds like hormones to me...

Could be Post-partum depression...

You can try a simple otc solution like 5-HTP or St. Johns Wart for a bit and see if her moods improve, otherwise get her to her baby doc asap so her hormone levels can get tested and equalized...
