need help with AI dosage.doctor cant help.

Hey guys, Ive been on trt for about 1 1/2 years and currnetly ive gotten my level to a good range but my estrogen is still a bit high. i have the 1mg anastrozole tabs but im not sure how much to take without lowering my E too much,last time i tried it I think it dropped too low and i felt like shit. My Doc is pretty new to trt and isnt much help with AI dosages. I had my labs done 2 weeks ago. I inject 40mg twice a week(80mg total a week).

the AI pills I have arent scored and are a bitch to cut and get a reliable dose without crushing them even with a pill cutter. any help would be appreciated. thanks!!

if your doc is new to trt, which makes little sense as he apparently is prescribing you testosterone thrn go find a trt doctor who will be able to give you expert advice on your trt treatment, contact IMT trt doc here on the boards

Arimidex dosing for 80 mg/wk test is dicey. You shouldn't need any at that dose, but your results say otherwise.

I wouldn't take any more than 1/8th mg 2x per week, and then try to calibrate that by more testing after several weeks to stabilize. I know it sucks but maybe you could crush it up and divide into 8 equal piles. That would not be fun, but would last four weeks.

By the way 774 total test from 80 mg/wk is impressive.

You need to buy a Pill Cutter.
Available Online and at a Local Pharmacy.

1/4 Tab (.25 Mg) twice a week, should be plenty.
Then do an Estradiol Bloodwork after 1 Month at this dose, to see if you need to adjust..................... JP
P.S.
There is No ~ Set in Stone Doses for AI's, as everyone responds differently.
But the above dose should get you in the Ballpark of where you want your Estradiol to be.

I take .25mg anastrozole (1/4 of the 1mg tab)with my 100mg test and it has me high normal....which I like.

As stated above, buy a quality pill splitter and cut them into quarters.

The bigger issue is your Hemocrit. It is creeping up there. Go donate blood ASAP. This could turn into a bigger problem if you do not watch that.

I second all of what's said here. I donate every 56 days and I feel much better. It's just part of managing what we're doing to our bodies.
