I've always had trouble filling in my rear delts, my genetics have allowed me to have arms with great shape from the front but from the side my arm just flattens. Does anyone have any advice?

And the same goes for my calves, they're good shape but I've never been able to get them bigger. I worked out a lot, lot in high school but I played 4 sports so it could have stripped my calves of muscle but now I'm working out again and need a little help. Should I do high weight less rep or low with more reps? or Both?

heavy back work will hit those rear delts nicely.

normally higher weight lower reps is more sucessful for adding mass. but occassionally some do better on higher reps for adding size. not often but occassioanlly.

and unfortuanetly mother nature often times dictates calf size/shape.

barbell bent over rows bent at 45 degree angle overhand grip they worked so well for me i barely do rear delt work, theres not really any mass builder for rear delts cause side and front get most out of military presses but deads and bent over rows should blast them nicely..
calves are genetic gifts or burdens.. squats will help but beside squats and some calf exercises good luck on adding size

Pullin is right about the rear delts. Also, bent over laterals will finish them off.

For calves, I find that 1 exercise of 3-4 sets, 3 times per week is best for calves. My calves.

I do this because they tire really quickly, and heal really quickly.

I was triaing mine eod for a bit got thme up to 18.5 inches and 18.inches. They I liad off them for a bit till my arms catch up to them.

but my delts suck so Im' hopnig siwtching ot powerlifting will help that out...lol
